So this is the sequel part to 'The Unexpected Date'. It's just nice fluff and nice and easy to read. I hope you enjoy!

----------------------------

I nervously glance at the clock in my room for the seventh time within two minutes. It's almost twelve o'clock and Dan said he'd pick me up at twelve. Two minutes till I see Dan. That's if he's on time. I need to calm my nerves; it's just a date. Just a simple date. Is it a simple date? I groan and throw myself back onto my bed.

"Phil!" Pj calls from the hallway. "Are you nearly ready?"

"Yeah!" I reply. "I'll be out in a second."

"Well Dan will be here soon!"

I huff and walk over to the door before swinging it open to reveal an eager Pj. He smiles comfortingly at me and pulls me out of the room.

"Are you excited?" Pj asks.

I shrug, "Not sure. I'm more nervous."

"I bet," Pj smiles. "I would be if I'd only met the person yesterday. I don't really know how you're doing it."

"Alright, Peej!" I laugh lightly. "You're not helping."

"Sorry," he says awkwardly.

Knock, knock.

"Oh my god he's here! He's here! I'm not dressed, I'm not ready, I haven't brushed my teeth!" I exclaim and run into the bathroom.

"Phil!" Pj laughs. "You were ready an hour ago!"

I hear Pj open the door and then I hear Dan's smooth voice.

"Eh, Phil is just...brushing his teeth," Pj lies.

I roll my eyes before taking a deep breath and walking out of the bathroom with a fake, confident smile on my face.

"Hey, Dan!" I say.

He smiles, "Hey, Phil. You look good."

"Thanks, so do you," I smile back. Where is all of this fake confidence coming from? This is not the Phil I know.

"Well, you two go and enjoy yourselves!" Pj says, whilst practically pushing us out of my apartment.

Dan and I make our way down the apartment stairs and out onto the street. We walk further along the street, squeezing through crowds of people and make our way to Hyde park. I take in a deep breath of the polluted London air and sigh.

"You alright, Phil?" Dan asks with a side smile.

"Yeah, just taking in the lovely day," I reply.

"I've sorted out lunch. I hope that's okay?" Dan smiles down at me.

"Yeah of course, what are we having?" I ask nervously. He doesn't know what I like to eat, so what if I hate what he's chosen? Oh no, I'll have to fake it. Smile and wave, as those penguins say.

We walk through Hyde park until Dan grabs my arm and pulls me round a tree and I gasp at the sight. Chris is stood next to a picnic blanket with his hands in his pockets and smiles sheepishly.

Chris smiles, "I'll leave you two alone now. I was keeping it safe for you."

"Cheers, Chris," Dan says and pats Chris on the shoulder as he walks away.

I look at Dan and he looks at me. I think it's safe to say he's as nervous as I am right now.

"This is amazing, Dan," I smile. "Thank you."

"No, thank you for coming and not bailing on me," Dan replies, as he sits onto the blanket.

I sit opposite him and frown, "You make it sound as though I wasn't going to come."
