As the plane started to descent into the Los Angeles airport I felt Maya stir from where she was sitting next to me. Her hair a little wet at the hair line from sweat and her shirt turned sideways from her turning. I pulled her over from her seat so that half of her body was in my lap.

She really was beautiful. She had Emily's over all face structure and eyes, but my eye color. I remember Emily telling me that Maya looked so much like me that it was hard for her to look at her every day. But to me Maya looked like a mini Emily, which made it hard for me to look at her.

I guess we would just never agree on that.

When the woman finally announced that we would be landing soon, I started to wake Maya up, which wasn't an easy task. I had no idea how Emily did it every morning. But it was quite cute; it reminded me of waking Emily up.

Flashback

"Emily, we have to get up." I nudged her arm, but she just turned back over onto her stomach. Her Liverpool t-shirt was sitting nicely on her curves, the light red of the shirt complimenting her light skin perfectly.

"Emily..." I nudged again, but she flipped over and hit me on the chest, hard, and turned back onto her stomach. I rolled my eyes and leaned forward again, moving my fingers slowly up her leg until they were at the hem of her shirt. I smirked to myself as I moved the hem up with my fingers until she reached back, still not looking up, and smacked my arm.

"Don't... even... think about it." She mumbled into the pillow.

"Emily please, you have to get up," I pleaded but Emily didn't stir, "we have to go."

"No." she mumbled again into the pillow. I had something planned for today and we really had to get going.

"Emily, I have to do this. I love you, but I have to." I sighed before leaning down and picking her up, carrying her still body, bridal style, to the bathroom and standing her in front of the mirror.

I could see the small smile on her face as I tried to get her to stand, but her eyes stayed closed. I held her up with one hand while I used the other hand to brush her hair.

"Ow!" she stood up from my grip and turned around, hitting my chest hard again.

"Well, well, well, look who decided to wake up." I smiled and stepped out of the small bathroom to give her more room to get ready.

"Shut up." She mumbled and closed the door, leaving me alone in her room, smiling, because I had just done the impossible.

I got Emily out of bed.

I smiled and finally got Maya to wake up from her long nap.

"Are we there?" she asked and looked up at me at her watery brown eyes. I nodded and a small smile found its way onto her face.

Once we finally landed in LAX I picked up Maya and her little bag and headed to baggage claim to pick up my bag. I headed out to the door where two of my body guards were waiting for us. I looked past them and saw the men waiting outside for me.

"Ok Maya, you're going to go with my friend Mike here, ok?" I look down at Maya and she nods. I hand her to Mike and grabbed my bags again, walking out into the sea of flashing lights.

"Mike, put her head down!" I called back to Mike and kept walking to the waiting car on the curb.

I ran forward to the car and opened the sliding door, sliding into the seat and holding my hands out to get Maya from Mike. He handed her to me and closed the door, taking a step to the front seat.
