I Can't Wait Forever (A Liam Fanfiction)

Chapter 57

*Emily’s POV*

            We finally landed in England. I haven’t been back here since when I left. I never planned to come back, for many reasons, but here I am. And it’s quite ironic that I’m here with Liam, since the reason I left was to keep Maya away from him, but yet here I am with him, on a “family” vacation.

            “I’m going to go down to baggage claim. Take Maya out to the front, but do not go outside.” Liam handed a sleeping Maya to me and walked off down the hallway. I turned the other way and started toward the door.

            I stopped before turning the corner, because I could easily hear the commotion outside, and if I turned the corner and they saw me, I wouldn’t be left alone.

            I sat down on the bench and laid Maya out across my lap. She turned a little but stayed asleep. I reached across her and into my purse to grab my phone. I sent a quick text to Bri telling her we landed ok, and put it away again.

            A couple minutes later, I saw Liam rushing toward us with three suitcases. I started to get up to help him but slowed down because Maya was still in my arms. I picked up my purse and Liam guided us around the corner, only to be met by flashing lights.

            Liam handed the suitcases to two men standing at the door, both of which I recognized from before. They both smiled at me before stepping outside and making a crude path for us to walk down.

            I held Maya close to me as we made our way through the shouts and screams and flashing lights. Maya stirred, but luckily she didn’t wake up.

            I was helped into a black car and the door was closed behind me. I put Maya in the car seat that was next to me and leaned back into the seat.

            Not long after Liam got in on the other side, and the car started slowly moving forward. And soon enough we were going full speed on the high way.

            “So, it’s almost seven and I have to be at an interview at eleven, but I will be back before three.”

            “Ok.” I nod, but don’t turn toward him. I hear him sigh, but he doesn’t say anything.

            I’m actually glad that I get a little time to myself because I just need some time to think all of this over.

            When we make it to the hotel everything is clear so we make it to the lobby just fine. Liam checks us in and we are on our way up to the room we are sharing.

            “I need to go by the boys’ room really quickly. I’ll be back in twenty minutes.” Liam told me before handing me the key to our room. I walk in and drop the bags to the floor and look around the lavish room. It looks like a classic five-star hotel suite looks like.

            I walk into one of the bedrooms and lay Maya down, then walk back out to the main room in the middle of the suite. The whole suite is made of two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room area with two big couches.

            I sat down and slowly fell asleep on one of the couches.

*Liam’s POV*

            “Hey guys!” I call into the suite as I walk in. None of the boys are in sight until I see Zayn come out of his room in his sweats. The rest of the boys follow him out.

            “Hey!” they all call and walk over, each giving me a hug.

            “So we need to talk about something?” I ask and the boys nod leading me over to the couches where we all sit around in a circle.
