I Can't Wait Forever (A Liam Fanfiction)

Chapter 9

*Liam’s POV*

            The next morning I woke up with my alarm at six in the morning. I got out of bed and threw on a shirt, walking toward the hallway so that I could get the girls to wake up. I really didn’t want to wake up Emily so early, but we had a reservation to get to.

            Once I knocked on the door lightly, Bri opened the door, and it looked like she was wide awake.

            “Liam, what are you doing here? I thought you would be sleeping and resting for your show tomorrow.” Bri questioned, letting me into their hotel room. Once inside I saw that Maya was sitting on the couch playing with something and Emily was in the kitchen making breakfast.

            “Well, I came over to wake you up, but I see there is no need for that.” I smiled, and looked over at Emily again who was brushing her hands on a paper towel.

            “Yeah, Maya is an early riser. She got up about twenty minutes ago.” She smiled and looked over at her daughter, who was giggling from hearing her name.

            “Well since you’re up already, you need to get ready. Pack a swim suit, a towel and some sunscreen. I have everything else.” I say and start walking out the door, leaving the girls confused.

            I walk across the hall quickly and finish packing everything we need for our little trip. I go and wake up Niall and Louis, who wanted to come with me. They weren’t too happy about the wake up call, but eventually got up.

            The three of us were downstairs in the lobby in fifteen minutes, waiting for Emily, Bri and Maya to join us at any second.

*Emily’s POV*

            “Where do you think we are going?” Bri asked as we got into the elevator, our beach bags in hand.

            “Well I think it’s either some water park or the beach. What else would you need swimsuits for?” I replied.

            When the elevator stopped at the lobby, we quickly walked over to the check –in desk where, sure enough, Liam was standing with Niall and Louis.

            “Hi guys.” I smile once we approached them.

            “Hey Em!” Liam smiled turning around, “This is Niall and Louis. Guys, this is Emily, Bri and Maya.” Liam explained to the two boys who waved to us.

            “Well Liam, we better get going. We have a long drive if we want to get there in time.” Niall tried whispering to Liam, but I heard it.

            “Ok, come on guys. The car is waiting outside.” Liam said to us cheerily, and we followed him outside to a van.

            Once all of the our bags were in the back, we filed in and sat in the three rows of the van.

            In the front was Niall and Louis and Maya, then Bri was in the second row, leaving Liam and I in the back row.

            After a couple minutes of us leaving Bri was fast asleep on the seat. And Louis and Niall were in the front entertaining Maya with funny faces and games.

            “So are you excited to be here?” Liam suddenly asked. I turned to him and gave him a warm, genuine smile.

            “I’m so excited. Thank you so much for this, I really needed this. And I think Maya is going to have a blast.” I say. But I really wanted to say so much more to him.
