Laine POV

Kinaumagahan na kami nakauwi ni Ellise sa unit namin. Tanghali na pala. Hindi na muna ako papasok. Kakagising ko lang at hindi pa ako makamove on kanina.

*flashback*

Pumasok na kami sa loob ng unit namin. Inaalalayan ko parin si Ellise. Sinalubong kami ni Fear na umuusok sa galit.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! HINDI AKO MAPAKALI BAKA KUNG SAAN NA KAYO NAPUNTA!! KUNG NAMATAY NA BA KAYO OR WHAT?! BINALIKAN KO KAYO BUT I JUST FOUND NO ONE!! GOD!! I SAID HANG ON HINDI LEAVE!!" sigaw nito at nageco sa buong unit namin.

"Ang tagal mo kasi mamamatay na lang si Ellise hindi ka parin dumadating!" Sigaw ko pabalik.

"Tumigil na nga kayong dalawa." pilit magsalita ni Ellise para lang awatin kami.

"Natagalan ako kasi malayo ang gymnasium. And for petes sake!! TINUMBA KO LANG NAMAN ANG PAPATAY SA KAIBIGAN KO. AND GUESS WHAT WHO IS SHE." ngumiti ito ng napaka-pait.

"She?" -Ellise.

"That bitchy nerd. Yung classmate natin." napangiwi na lang ito.

"Si Candy?" tanong ko.

"No! Yung isa pa. Yung nerd na mahaba buhok. She did it because she dont want us to ruin Mrs. Luck's plan. Pathetic." sabi nito at umakyat na ng kanyang kwarto.
Pero may sinabi muna sya bago pumasok.

"From now on... Don't trust anyone except me if you dont want to end this friendship. Your so important to me so that I can risk my life just to protect both of you. Ako ang nagsabi na sumama kayo sakin kaya kargo ko kayo.I dont want to lose this friendship in just a snap. Just be safe always and trust me." aniya sabay pasok. Hindi ko inaakala na ganon kasweet si Fear. Sweet nga ba?

I just find it eeiiiww!! Lol. I never saw her like that.
Saying sweet words is what she hates and now shes doing it. Kinda wierd.

*end of flashback*

Natatawa na lang ako kapag na aalala ko ito. Lumabas na ako ng kwarto at kinatok si Ellise. Binuksan nya ito agad at ngumisi.

"Naalala mo yung kanina?" tanong nya.

"Yeah. Lumabas ka na jan at kakain tayo sa cafeteria." sabi ko at bumaba na.

"Where's Fear?" tanong nya.

"I dont know baka pumasok." sabi ko na lang. Hindi ko naman talaga alam. Kasalukuyan kaming naglalakad ng harangin kami ng grupo ng mga kalalakihan.

"Hi Miss." halata sa boses nito ang pangbabastos.

"Excuse us, boys. If you still love your life." walang emosyon kong sambit.

"Why--" naputol ang kanyang sasabihin ng dumating si Pres with FEAR?!

"AT THE COUNT OF THREE...1!" sigaw ni Pres. Lahat naman ng mga lalaki ay tumakbo. Tss mga duwag din pala eh.

"You two pumasok kayo. Nahuli ko si Fear na hindi na naman pumasok kaya sinundo na namin kayo. Papasok tayo may iaanounce ang principal sa gymnasium." sabi ni Pres.

Pres is still Pres. Maya-maya lamang ay andito na kami sa gymnasium. May iaanounce daw ang mahal naming principal.

"Table Number 4 ang sa inyo. 1 naman ang amin." ani ni Pres at iniwan na kami. Naupo kami sa sinabi nyang table number at pinagmasdan ang paligid. Nahagip ng aking paningin si Fear. Naalala ko na naman ang sinabi nya. *smirk *

Fear POV

Hindi ko alam pero hindi ako kumportable. Fuck I hate this feeling. Umakyat na si bruha (Mrs. Lucks) sa stage at ngumiti ng pilit sa lahat. Nasa likod nya ang mga heads of different subjects.

"Hello everyone. I call you because I have an important announcement.Your exam a while ago is a test for your ranking. We only have 10 smart people here in my list. They got the highest scores among all. And before I forgot since our former Queen, Avery Mac is already gone. I will announce the new Queen but the King is still him. I would like to introuduce you all our new Top 10 rankings. Rank 10th would be Ms. Strella Walter. 9th is Carl Bough. 8th is Mr. Red our SSG Vice President. 7th is our dearest Secretary Ms. Cassey. 6th is our peace maker Calster Purge. Rank 5th is non other than Ms. Fear Lim. Rank 4th is Mr. Mark Pin. Rank 3rd is Mr. Lorde Mac. Rank 2nd is Mr. Democraite Lumia and the highest among them all. Still non other than our beloved SSG President Mr. Devien Scotch. Give them around of applause." at nagpalakpakan ang lahat. While we are still shocked.

OK what the hell is happening? Why my name is being called?

"Fear, congrats! You did it! Rank 5 ka na in just 2 weeks?! I cant believe it!" Nabalik ako sa reyalidad ng marinig ko ang nakalunok kong kaibigan ng megaphone.

"Bakit mo ako sinampal?!" singhal ko kay Laine. Ang lakas ng sigaw ko kaya alam kong napukaw ko ang atensyon ng lahat. I don't care. Napatawa ito ng malakas.

"If I'm not mistaken your thinking that your just day dreaming. I slap you so that you will know that this is true. Congratulations, Fear!" sigaw nya at niyakap ako. Should I cry? Insert sarcasm.

"Ehem." may nagsalita sa microphone. Oo nga pala masyado kaming nagenjoy.

"Ok enough that. I also would like to announce that your second periodical exam will be next week. And after the exam we will have a ball. Its not a ball your thinking that is sweet and fun. Its a bloody ball. Isn't exciting?" natigilan ako sa sinabi nya.

"Ok may I call on Pres to announce who is the new lovely Queen of HHA." sabi nya at ibiniba ang microphone. Tumayo na si Pres at umakyat sa stage. He's smiling like an evil at me. I just raised my left eyebrows at him.

"Hello to my fellow HHA students. I would like to congratulate MY new Queen. I know na nakakapagtaka na sya ang magiging bagong reyna natin dahil sa unang pagkakataon napaka bilis ng mga pangyayari. According to our rule, the first lady in the ranking will be the Queen. And its non other than Ms. Fear Lim." He said while looking straight to my eyes.

"I cant except it." I protest.

"Rule is a rule, Ms. Lim. If you believe that Rules are made to be broken. You should forget it. Dahil dito kapag sinuway mo ang isang patakaran para mo ng din tinaya ang buhay mo kay kamatayan. Remember the first rule at our golden rule? Must obey all rules." he said emphasizing his last line at ngumiti ng nakakaloko.

"I dont have a choice." walang emosyon kong sagot. Hays!!

Matutuwa ba ako o malulungkot?

Napatayo na lang ako at pumunta sa stage.
Tiningnan ko ang crowd at lahat sila tuwang tuwa except sa mga part ng 2 groups those HW and HSG.

Nahagip ng aking mata ang nagiisang babae sa may dulo ng gymnasium. She's looking at me while there's a smile at her lips. She's familiar...
