To be really honest in my family there's this one rule/policy we live by that goes somewhat like this:
1) When you're younger, everyone listens to you and shit, making you feel like you're valued. But...they give off little what I call 'hints' or criticizing of your ideas to perhaps tell you of what they want you or your future to be.
But you don't really get it since you're a kid.
2) once you get to a certain age, you'll realize nobody really...listens to you.
Then you start to question-
Were they listening at all this whole time?
This throws you in some sort of existential-crisis shit. And for me, I come off as moody but just want answers.
I guess I can't blame anyone for this situation...
