I hate the fact that I have to tell my parents everything or the fact that they will find out anything I do.
Because I always have this feeling that they will ruin whatever I like or do.
Because so far this is what's happening-
Parent: you can chose any path you want and change your mind about it throughout life
Parent: I HEARD YOU REALLY LIKED WRITING YOU SHOULD GO FARTHER THAN JUST BEING POPULAR ON SOCIAL MEDIAS SHOW ME WHAT YOURE WRITING!!!11!1 YOU COULD MAKE MONEY IF YOU DO GET PUBLISHED!!$$!!
Me: actually, no thanks. I'll think about it maybe...but that's not what I want to do.
Parent: *stays on the topic for the next few minutes, bringing it up every few days, me giving the same answer*
Me: ok could you please stop forcing me on this you're making me want to stop writing with the way you're talking about it. I'm fine with the way I am in my current position, thank you very much.
Parent: OMG NO U DONT UNDERSTAND HOW HARD LIFE IS IF YOU DONT MAKE MONEY AND A LIVING HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR COLLEGE WHICH IS IN THE NEXT THREE YEARS????
*the conversation turns into an argument and literally never ends*
