I might delete if I already included this somewhere in the book but
My mom gets really...not necessarily upset but more like...troubled? when my dad is in the house. I mean she's fine when she's around my brother and I but honestly it's when he's around that it crosses a particular line.
Basically when she's upset she cleans the house and complains about shit, like how nothing gets done, I'm a failure (which isn't wrong), etc...
And for the next hour or so you'll just hear her going around the house, shit being moved around and yeah
There's just this added extra tension.
So you can imagine what it's like when two people who hate each other are in the same small cubicle. They don't argue as much, they just do it in text/over the phone. So I guess that's an improvement.
