Fandom vs. Reality

Guys, let's be honest.
In every fandom are at least two types of the fandom characters: How they are and how the fandom sees them.
And Marble Hornets is no exception.

Jay, to begin with, is not stupid. It's quite the opposite, I'd say that he's pretty smart.  After all, it was him who decoded most of the binary codes. And other than we do it, totheark didn't just type them in some translator and used it. They really encrypted their messages.

Alex is not a douchebag who kills his friends for fun. Don't forget his intentions; he wanted to stop the Operator from spreading. To stop it from ruining more people's life. And if the solution was to kill his friends to save others, maybe hundreds, that was a sacrifice he could make.

And now be completely honest:
Brian is no innocent kawaii-desu-chan. He was a nice guy before shit went down, but after?
Just saying, he's stealing Tim's medication to make him work with him. The medication he needs for several mental illnesses he has.
Brian is damaging Tim to use him for his goals. He is a manipulative, egoistic asshole. That shouldn't be forgotten.

Tim.. Tbh, I think he's one of the few characters whose personality is at least similar to the original.
Same with the other characters, though.
