So.. Well. Joshy came up with the idea of the ark being Troy's (Jay's actor) house.
And.. That's not that stupid.

You remember this? Goood.
Now, let's say Troy lived in the EMH's universe (what they do because EMH mentioned the creators of MH once) and totheark, Hoodie and Masky knew that there were other universes and wanted to go there, hoping to escape the OP.

"But Traum, how can Troy's house be the ark? And why is it Troy's but not, idfk, Tim's house? (bc of the brim it'd be more of an ark, hrhrhr)"

It's Troy's house because he is the creator of Marble Hornets. He had the first idea, he made MH up. Joseph just liked the idea and they formed MH together, Tim joined them later.
But because it was Troy's idea, Troy has some kind of (mental) connection to the Marble Hornets universe they created. That's why the characters would be looking for him, saying his home was the saving ark.

... Actually, it's rather "complicated"/there are two theories.

The first would be that Troy's house wasn't exactly the ark but some kind of.. End of the tunnel.
Like, the ark is connecting the MH realm with the other universe..

Understand?
In order to find the ark and go to the others' universe, you have to find some special place, a portal, to the ark.
There is only one portal and there is only one end.

The second one is.. Well.
Troy's universe would be the ark universe. Thinking that everything in their world was made up, including the Operator, The Twins and TTA want to escape to the 'real' world..
.. Where the Slenderman exists.

However, that would work, but would throw up my theory about the ark, the Candleverse and the universes.
But tbh, I already made up a new idea.
