Warning: hinted depression and suicidal thoughts. Also, pretty much gay.

"Tim?", Brian asked, looking at the stars they laid underneath. The soft grass caressed his skin and tickled his neck.
"Yes?", Tim answered absently, his attention on the beautiful, tiny seeming suns far, far away.

"Give me five reasons to smile."
Tim startled at this. He sat up slowly, looking over at Brian who was still laying on the grass, staring at the stars. "Brian.. Are you alright? Why'd you want me to answer that?", "Yes, Tim, I'm fine.", the other male sighed, now turning his head towards Tim.
"Please.. Just do it."

The smaller man felt uneasy and shifted a bit, but still did as asked: "The first one would be.. Your smile is infectious. Whoever it's directed towards has always to smile back at you. The second reason, it suits you. Smiling. You look.. Prettier.. When you smile. And your eyes start shining, like you're magical...", Tim paused. This was so embarrassing to him.. He was telling his best friend how pretty he looked, who wouldn't be uncomfortable?

"Thirdly, you always smile. I've never seen you frown and couldn't imagine you frowning in any situation. Reason four, it was you telling me once to smile for the camera.. and lastly,.. when you smile, it makes me feel better.", blushing by now, Tim ended. Brian though didn't show any reaction and just continued to stare at the night sky. Or, so Tim thought.
He didn't see the tiny smile on Brian's lips.

"Okay,", the blonde said monotone, "give me five reasons to cry."
His best friend frowned. "There shouldn't be even one."
Both men fell silent. While Tim still watched Brian, Brian fought the tears that wanted to escape. If Tim said he had no reason to cry, then he would not cry.

"Give me five reasons to not die.", the hoodie wearing man suddenly spoke after a good twenty minutes of silence, making Tim slightly jump.
If the sideburned man wasn't concerned about his best friend yet, then he surely was by now.

Silently, he whispered: "I can give you only one, Brian.. And that one reason would be me."
