Shhh
Can you see the green
Flashing past the window screen?
Can you hear the stillness as students doze off
With the exception of a single cough?
Can you feel the rumbling and bumping of the bus
As it shakes and sways along the road, on its way past?
shhh
Be still
Be quiet
Let the silence endure
Until the peace is broken
