Love, fickle and bothersome
Cupid's careful arrow careless
Couples calluous breakups
Love shattered to pieces
Death embraces love
Fatal kisses of mortality
Recall spoke vows of the married
Only whispers in the dark of night
Forgotten love
Death conquers
Snatching Cupid's bow
Raining divorce upon the dead
Widower and bachelor
Forever single
Lone gazer at the window
No shoulder to cry on
Death holds sway
All lovers' hearts
One leaves, one left
Love cries til death
Death cannot immortalise love
But love immortalises death
*
A simple poem of how in death, we forget those we love
