It stuck to me
Burrowing below my bones
Curling around my warm heart
Pulsing with heat and
Freezing itIt swirls around my toes
Buried deep in layers of leather
Shoes can't keep it out
My toes turn to ice
And shatter upon impactIt shivers up my arms
Wind kissing barest skin
Frost encasing flesh
I become a human snowman
And freeze, literallySnowflakes lick my face
Already blue in winter
Caressing a shivering mess
Frozen bones and icy flesh
I am not ice
I am not freezingI am cold
