Light feet pad
On sand dunes heavy
Yet shifting and threatening
To trip, to bury, to mock;
But the sand conceals danger
Yellow masking the black shadows
That creep from below and whip its tail -
Missing, for the wind from afar whispers,Beware!
Beware of the long-tailed one!Browned feet dance
Treading on sandcastles
Crushing childhood dreams
So treacherous the sand;
Yet the feet continue to roam
And roam they on unknown plains
Desolation filled with the terror of
Deep dark shadows where the predator lies
In wait, tail swaying like a stalk and pounces -
Yet misses, for the wind on the sand hills shout,Beware!
Beware of the stinging tail!And now feet tread
Weary on desert sand
Heavy, sinking into light dunes
So traitorous the sand:
Hiding the shadow of IT
IT hides, IT crawls, IT springs
And the wind howlsBeware!
Beware of the poison of the stinging tail!But the feet heed it not, for feet have no ears anyways
And with IT's most venomous sting
It ends thee and thee ends
