There will always be that time
A time in the past
Perhaps future
Maybe even in the present
But there will be a time
Where you feel yourself
DrowningAs if you were swimming
To the shore and the waves
Pounced like sharks and
Dragged
You
DownAnd, at that point of time
You could have resisted
Could have fought your way out
Seek the opening in their attack
Escaped with life intake
And yet,
And yet,
You still remained lifeless
As if the attack itself
Sereved your soul from body
Your flimsy flesh having no
Will, no motivation to continue
And succumb to the waters
To the ferocious and powerful
Tides of the seaTears drown
Your body and soul
In a sea of self-pity
