Another Love.

Description - Hello my lovelies! I have been wanting to write this one for while and it's finally here! (The hour I took writing this was much more fun than revision I can say X) It's a little different to my usual ones and it's all written in Draco's POV. The words in bold are the lyrics of Another Love - Tom Odell and everything in italics are Draco's flashbacks to a time with you whilst he is listening to the song. I'd love to hear what you think about it and whether I should do more like these in the future! Xx Enjoy!

I wanna take you somewhere so you know I care
But it's so cold and I don't know where.
"How about the lake? No no that's far too cold at this time of year. The edge of the forest? No not there. Snape has caught me there far too often. Hogsmeade is warm, but it's far too crowded."
"Draco? Are you talking to yourself?" Y/N wondered over to me.
"Yer - it's just...I have something to ask you, but I don't know where to do it. Every where's either too crowded or too cold." I said, a little deflated.
"Well, why not just here then?"
"Ok well -" pull yourself together Draco. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

I brought you daffodils in a pretty string
But they won't flower like they did last spring.
"Happy Valentines my love." I whispered, kissing Y/N lightly.
"Draco, you're such a sweetheart"
She sat up, rubbing her eyes. Her hair messy, but still she looked as beautiful as always.
"I've got loads planned, seeing as we have the day off. Oh and I got you flowers! But I think Blaise put a curse on them as a joke, so I'm not sure how they'll turn out."
"Ahahaha, thank you. They're perfect." Y/N pulled me close before kissing me deep.

I'm just so tired to share my nights

But all my tears have been used up.
"Draco can't you see how much this is killing me? You know how much pain Voldemort's plans have caused me and now you're one of them! They killed my family Draco!"
"Y/N please, I know how hard this is on you but I don't have a choice!"
"But you do! You don't have to do this!"
"He'd kill me Y/N! Is that what you want?!"
Y/N stared at me, tears pricking her eyes.
"Then this is it."

"Oy Y/N! Couldn't Draco even love you? How pathetic!"
"He's better off without you! A mudblood like you!"
"Look at you! How could you even think he could like someone like you?"
I had had enough of hearing people slagging off Y/N. She may have ended us, but that doesn't mean I stopped caring or loving her.
"Hey Pansy!" I yelled over to her, whist she stood with a couple other Slytherin girls who had been shouting at Y/N.
"Draco! I've been meaning to talk to you - now you're single I was wondering..."
"Stop bitching about Y/N."
"What? Draco, she's a mudblood. Plus, she's not exactly the prettiest I mean-"
I shoved her hard against the wall behind her and pushed my wand into her chest.
"You or your bratty friends say one more word about Y/N and you all get it. Hear me?" Pansy nodded frantically, panic in her eyes. "Y/N is more caring, beautiful and strong than you will ever be. Shove off Pansy." I spat as I let her go.
"Wait until your father hears about this Draco!" She shouted as her and her posey walked off.

I had hoped I had to be attending the Yule Ball with Y/N, but she was still upset so I attended alone, hopeful I'd just get to see her.
It was about half way through the night and I was about to leave, but that's when I saw her. Walking down the ice stairs, her hair fell perfectly and her body moved to the piano playing. Her body glowed in the mesh red dress she wore, makeup matching. I still love her.
Our eyes caught, as she walked over to me.
"Hi." She whispered.
"Hey."
"I heard what you said to Pansy."
"Oh urm-"
"Thank you." She smiled.

"We'll get through this together, ok?"
"Ok."
"Always?"
