Behind the Scenes - The Mirror of Erised
This imagine is hands down the most popular. The majority of the praise and comments I receive are based off this imagine. It has been a honour to touch people emotionally with this story, and I am so glad that my writing can do that.
This is a very neutral story, which is why I think it touches people.
There is no backstory, no other characters, simply you and Draco. Anyone can take this story, and insert it into their own lives. Areas of real life where people feel out of control, or as though there is no one around to comfort them.
The inspiration for this imagine hit me whilst watching The Philosophers Stone, where the story line just hit me. I was watching the films quite late at night, but I could not get to sleep until I had finished the imagine.
The story took me one attempt to write, and I posted it that very night.
