In celebration of reaching one million readers, I am updating my book with 5 new stories :) When I started this book three years ago, I would never have believed that it could ever have reached a milestone like this. I am so thankful for everyone who has read, voted and commented on my book and has helped it reach such momentum. I wanted to write some new stories in order to celebrate that and I am excited for you guys to read them.

However, the choice for me to start writing again wasn't an easy one. Since I last updated my book, JK Rowling has shared some of her views on trans people which, frankly, I do not agree with and have publicly protested against. I believe that the tweets she made in June of this year were insensitive and mocking of the struggles that trans and non-binary people face everyday. Not only that, but her latest novel surrounds a male serial killer who dresses up as a woman in order to target their victims. These types of fictional characters fuel the very real abuse that trans people suffer, as it portrays them as dangerous and a threat to society - which could not be further from the truth. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community (and just a decent human being), I try my best to educate myself on the struggles that other people face, particularly those in my own community. I didn't want to be associated with someone who opinions are so drastically different to mine on such an important matter, and therefore was contemplating not continuing my book.

Despite that, I understand that JK Rowling does not speak for everyone in the Harry Potter community, of which I have always found to be inclusive and welcoming. I also understand the importance of fan-fiction in people's lives, as I myself started this book when I was looking for comfort and love in a fictional world when I was struggling to find to find it in my own reality. Hearing from my readers has made me realise that I am part of something bigger, and that my own words can provide solace for people who share similar struggles to my own. The fact that I could have such an impact on people was the ultimate reason as to why I decided to start writing again, so I only have you guys to thank :)

I couldn't forget my own community though, so I wanted my new pieces of writing to include characters from the LGBTQ+ community. Reflecting on my past works, I am aware that that is something that I have previously failed to do, as my published stories all involve Draco in a heterosexual relationship with a girl. As society is becoming more and more queerer, I am now aware that is not a totally accurate representation of the world we now live in.

Now, at the beginning of each story it will have your house, any warnings and the pronouns of the main character (also known as our beloved 'Y/N').

Thank you guys once again for your continued love and support over the past three years. I hope you enjoy the new stories that will now follow :)
