I had been mulling over the final reason since day 8, and I still hadn't come up with anything. I couldn't find anything else to pick at or bully about his character; nothing else that annoyed me or got on my nerves; not even a petty reason such as the way he eats. I couldn't find any more flaws in Draco Malfoy. He had been so sweet and caring over the past nine days, that some how, my whole impression of him had completely changed.
And then there was the fact that we kissed. The electricity from that night still lingered in my body, the image of him still hanging in my mind. I tried to repress the feeling at the time, but I really felt something; it felt so right. I'd been telling myself that I didn't like Draco, I couldn't, but now I can't see any reason why I shouldn't.

We all headed down to the Great Hall, it's usual bustle a warm comfort from my confusion. Our food came and vanished, as breakfast finished and we all were dismissed for class. I left the Hall quickly, hoping not to bump into Draco, but my wishes weren't heard. A small tug on my arm pulled me out of the crowd and to the left of the Hall.
"So do you have it? The tenth reason why you hate me?" Draco stood eager to hear my final words of criticism. He had a slight jitter about him, as if excited for me to put him down.
My brain analysed his every move, remembering every thing he's ever said and ever done, just hoping something will jump out at me.
But there was nothing there. He was attractive, and kind, and I couldn't shake the feeling that had grown ever since we kissed.
"No. I don't have it."
"What do you mean?" His demeanour shifted; tone slightly angry and body standing taller.
"I can't come up with another reason, Draco. I can't find another flaw in you." I hoped that the desperation in my voice lead to some sympathy from him, but in fact it created a wild smile across face, leaving me confused.
"You've completely changed," I explained. "You've become kinder, and more polite, so sweet and caring, and I can't find another reason why I hate you."
"Is that it? Is that all?" Draco's smile remained plastered on his face, creating a more caring tone than before. He looked cunning as if he already knew my next answer.
"I like you. I really like you." Finally I had given in to the temptation of Draco Malfoy, who's wide grin grew even bigger with my answer, mimicking my own. "I can't hide it any more Draco, I like you."
We both chuckled, as I waited for his response.
"I like you too Y/N. Maybe this is the start of something then?" He grinned.
"I'd like that."
