Chapter 14 - Heartbreaker.

"Chat! Wait!" Ladybug squeaked. Her yoyo retracted, unwrapping from Nathanael's arm. As soon he did so Nathanael kicked Chat back who ran into Queen Bee, sending them both flying into a wall nearby. Ladybug clenched her teeth. Nathanael stood up, a smirk spreading across his face.

"My name is Heartbreaker! I will crush everyone's heart just like Marinette did to mine!" He yelled. Ladybug paused. She caused this. Shes he one that turned Nathanael evil. She couldn't help but feel bad.
"You dont have to spread hate everywhere!" Queen Bee said, throwing her top up in the air she exclaimed, "Honey comb!" In her hands landed a giant honey spoon. It was dripping with the yellow sticky liquid. She charged Heartbreaker and hit a button on the staff-like weapon. That must've been her secret power. The honey sprayed all over Heartbreaker, causing him to get all sticky and slow down.

"DAMN YOU QUEEN BEE!" He cursed. The blonde girl flipped her hair as the staff disappeared. Ladybug jumped into action. She took the opportunity to wrap her yoyo string around the honey-covered man. She found a little picture that had been turned purple and smirked.
"I gotcha~" she sing songs and snatched the picture which was covered with the thick liquid. She ripped the photo up and then caught the akuma. She cleansed it of evil and then watched it fly off. Due to her not using lucky charm, everything was turned back to normal when the akuma was cleansed. Chat came up next to her and picked the photo up. It was a drawing of Marinette. Chat frowned, but handed it to Ladybug.

She had to admit, Nathanael's skills had improved over the years. She walked over to him and handed the red head the drawing back who snatched it away.
"Thanks..." he muttered and then dusted himself off. Ladybug pursed her lips. She still kinda felt back but it also felt like a good riddance type of ordeal.

Queen Bee spoke up. "Ill bring him to safety." She had wings attached to her back. She scooped Nathanael up and flew away.
"We didn't even get an opportunity to ask Queen Bee any questions..." Chat mumbled. Ladybug turned to face him.
"We will eventually. As for now, lets get going. Sushi will be there soon." She smiled. She started back to her apartment. Chat caught up with her.
"That reminds me, my lady. You never answers my question. How did you learn Japanese?" He asked.

Ladybug smiled. "At my Highschool in China we took a trip to Sapporo Japan. I picked up some of the language." She shrugged and allowed herself to de-transform once landing on the balcony of her apartment. Chat followed suit, de-transforming right after her. It still made him happy to know that Marinette was Ladybug. Right as they go back into the apartment the doorbell buzzed. Marinette ran over and opened the door and payed for their sushi.

"Arigatou goziamasu! Sayonara!" She closed the door after taking the bags and turned back to Adrien. They walked over the bay window to eat. Marinette took the boxes out of the bags and the chopsticks which were covered in paper. She sat criss cross on the cushions and spread the boxes out in front of him. Adrien chose a box full of nigiri sushi which was fish on top of rice and a box of what Americans called California rolls. Marinette took the remaining choices of sashimi which was just fish and temaki which was sushi rolled into a cone shape.

Together in a comfortable semi-silence they watched the sun dip behind the horizon while picking up the delicate bits of Japanese cuisine. They conversed with one another, taking the opportunity to get to know each other better. Not that there wasn't much else to learn. They had already learned so much about each other. It was a rare treat when the suddenly said something about themselves that the other didn't know.

It was a full moon that night. Stars twinkled in the distance, giving way to a magnificent sky. Marinette leaned against the cold railing, forearms rested on top of each other as she stared out at the sky, the corners of her lips turned up into a smile.
