Marinette blacked out, whether it was from the terror or the weird chemical smell on the gag she didn't know. A possibility of both was very likely. Marinette's eyes slowly flicked open. A sharp ringing in her ears prevented her from focusing well.

Over the sound of ringing she heard sobs, sobs from a girl. They were coming from behind her. To weak to move, Marinette tried to strain her neck to locate who was crying. It was dark but she could make out torn designer jeans and a yellow floral tank top. The girl's blonde hair was down and tangled.

"C-Chloe..?" Marinette managed to say. The female's sobs paused. She turned her head to look at Marinette. It was Chloe, but she had obviously been beaten.

"M-Marinette!" This was the first time the two had been face to face in a long time. This was the first time the two have been seen face to face since Adrien proposing to Marinette, as well. "Marinette, w-where are we?" Chloe whispered.

She had seemed to forget about their rivalries in Highschool as terror wiped any other emotion out of her mind.

Marinette, aching body and all struggled to turn over to face the terrified blonde.

"I don't know... but we can't panic just yet. How long was I asleep?" She asked, forcing her voice not to shake. If Chloe couldn't think rationally then she had to be the one to do it.

"I got here after you, I have no idea." Chloe's voice raised as she spoke, her blue eyes teary and wide. She was scared, but so was Marinette.

"When did you get here?" Marinette asked calmly. She had to get a feel for how long they had been there.

"Whoever has us... they threw me down here a few hours ago." She sniffed. If Marinette could, she'd hug Chloe or wipe her tears away, anything to calm her down. But her wrists were still bound behind her back. She couldn't believe she even thought about it, but she decided that it was only right. Their childish fights from the past should be the last thing on her mind.

Footsteps echoed in the distance. Chloe went stiff, her body shaking visibly. Her mouth shut but her breathing was still heavy. Marinette pretended to still be asleep, letting her muscles go limp. Whoever had kidnapped them, they were still with the helpless women.

"Have you seen Marinette?" Adrien was beginning to worry. His fiancé wasn't answering his texts, calls or attempts to facetime her. We had called Sabine first. She said that Marinette had walked her to the subway but insisted she'd walk home since it was only a block or two. It had been at least six hours prior since they last spoke.

"No, why?" Alya responded, the sound of an oven going off in the background.

"She hasn't come home yet and I'm starting to worry. Sabine said the last time she spoke to her was hours ago and Marinette wasn't far from home." Adrien was starting to panic now. Marinette had disappeared.

Alya gasped. "You mean..." she stopped herself there. Adrien hung up before she would finish that sentence.

"Plagg, claws out!"

Chat Noir combed the city enveloped in darkness. The early winter wind nipped his nose as he bound from rooftop to rooftop. With with precise night vision and cat-like senses he was able to determine if a random citizen of Paris was his soon-to-be wife or not. Every second turned out to be fruitless.

"Chat Noir!" A familiar voice called out to him. Fox. Chat Noir spun around to see the red-haired super-heroine land in front of him. He looked panicked.

"Fox, what are you doing out here?" Chat asked, forcing himself to act as natural as possible.

"C- I mean Queen Bee went missing this afternoon. I can't find her anywhere!" He said, voice cracking mid-sentence.
"You too?! Ladybug disappeared...Lets search together." Chat put a gentle hand on his partners shoulder. Fox nodded.

"What is going on here..?" Chat Noir heard Fox whisper. Chat Noir couldn't help but wonder the same thing.

The two men frantically searched the large city without any good news. It was like both girls simply evaporated into thin air.

Chat Noir landed on the highest beam of the Eiffel tower, Fox landing beside him.

"You don't think," Fox said, raising his voice against the wind, "they were kidnapped... do you..?" He looked over at Chat with round eyes, the ears on top his head drooping helplessly.

Chat Noir shook his head. "I don't know..." his voice was low. "But we can't give up the search."

"You can stop searching like lost puppies and start thinking for a moment." An unfamiliar voice piped up behind them. A... sinister voice.

Chloe yowled in pain as she was kicked in the side.
"Helpless bug... just like Ladybug." The male voice was gruff. It was difficult to put a face to the voice. A mask covered his face. "Ironic, isn't it? You strived to be just like Ladybug. Now here you are, a super hero who can't do anything without her precious partner." He sneered.

So Chloe was Queen Bee. Marinette was sure of it now. But she was also sure of one other thing. This was no ordinary kidnapping. She struggled to sit up, wiping the mixture of blood and sweat off her eyebrow.

"So you finally decide to sit up, Ladybug?" Their kidnapped sneered.

Marinette remained silent. Could this person be Hawkmoth?
'Wait... is this the final battle?'
