~Two months before the wedding~
"And who is our bride?" Asked the dress consultant. Her dark brown hair was pulled into a tight bun on the back of her head and was secured by a decorative floral head-piece. Her dress was black with a slight V-neck line and a tight pencil skirt. Her legs were covered by black stockings - black dress-heels completed the look. She held a clipboard and pen in her left hand.
Marinette raised her hand shyly, smiling.
"Wonderful! You must be Ms. Dupain-Cheng. I'm Noelle, your consultant this evening. Who did you bring with you?" Noelle asked, her white teeth poking out as she smiled, scanning over the ladies that sat next to Marinette.
Marinette looked to her right. "Next to me is my maid of honor, Alya, my mother Sabine," she started, pointing to each of them when she said their name - Marinette turned to her left "next I have Rose, Juleka, Mylene and Manon." She again pointed to each girl as she read their names off.
"Nice to meet you girls, feel free to follow my assistant Monique to the shelves and can I have the bride follow me?" She asked. Marinette nodded; adjusting her purse on her shoulder as she stood up.
Monique gestured for the other girls to follow her. The rest of them stood up and followed the slender female off down the hall.
Noelle led Marinette to a private room. She gave the bluenette a few minutes to herself to change into the provided silk robe.
"Right, lets start off with some details about your wedding! Tell me about your fiancé." Noelle said as she sat next to Marinette, crosslegged.Marinette thought for a moment. "Well, we met in Highschool. He was a model at the time. His name is Adrien, son of Gabriel Agreste." She couldn't put her sentences together in a proper order or structure, she was excited, nervous and anxious all at the same time.
Noelle gasped. "Adrien Agreste! The owner of Agreste Co.?!" She asked, her green eyes widening. Marinette nodded shly. Noelle smirked.
"You are one lucky girl! Okay, tell me about your wedding." Noelle quickly moved on.
"Its at the Le Meurice." Marinette started. "We are planning around 100-150 guests or so... depending on Adrien's friends, and the colors are red and white, my bridesmaids are wearing red and Adrien's groomsmen will wear white." Marinette recalled everything she could think of off the top of her head. Noelle looked excited.
"You will have so much fun! What about your honeymoon~?!" She put an emphasis on the word 'honeymoon', causing Marinette to blush.
"Harbour Island in the Bahamas." She said quietly, staring at her feet.
"That sounds lovely! You'll have so much fun! Lastly, what kind of dress are you looking for?" Noelle asked, seeming to force herself to calm down.
Marinette was prepared for this question.
"Preferably A-line or sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder, long lace sleeves and something elegant. I want to be remembered.""I think we can do that! Just wait right here, I'll be back." Noelle made a couple notes on her clipboard and within seconds she was out the door. While Noelle was gone Marinette took a second to admire the scenery, and most importantly, think about where she was.
She was shopping for a wedding dress. A WEDDING DRESS! It seems like just yesterday she was seeing Adrien for the first time in years. In two months she'd be marrying the love of her life. A smile creeped onto Marinette's face. In two months... she'd marry the love of her life.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Noelle knocking on the door.
"Come in." Marinette called softly. Noelle came in with four dresses in her arms. She hung them up on a coat hanger rack that stuck to the wall and unzipped the bag.
