[ twenty eight ] day full of fun
He texted Prudence, asking for a picture of her list because he wanted to plan for their day. She gladly sent him a picture and asked what they'd do together the next day, to which he replied by telling her it was a surprise.
Prudence was so excited that night, that she found herself unable to sleep.
She was out of bed bright and early the next day and changed into her favorite outfit; the long white skirt with her old white knitted sweater.
When Ashton came knocking on her door at eight in the morning, she was ready to go. Ashton smiled at her, "Wow," He breathed, "You look great. The color white really suits you."
She smiled shyly, her cheeks turning slightly pink. "Thank you. White is my favorite color."
The two climbed into Ashton's car and he drove them to a small diner, where they would start their day with him inviting her to breakfast.
It was a lovely sixties styled, American themed diner with an old juke box, portraits of teens at the beach, drinking Pepsi soda and even pictures of famous artists who had dined there. On one of the walls was a photograph of the famous band The Beatles, and Prudence gasped.
"What is it?" Ashton asked, concerned for her.
"The Beatles ate at this diner." She said in excitement.
He raised an eyebrow at her. "You like the Beatles? You don't really strike me as the Beatles type of gal."
She giggled. "Just because I'm religious doesn't mean I'm not into good music."
She slid out of her seat in the small booth they were sitting in and he watched her saunter over to the old juke box. Slipping a coing into the machine, she searched through the countless songs until she found one she wanted to hear.
It was And I Love Her by The Beatles.
Just as she sat back in the booth, a waitress came to take their order. "What would you like to eat this morning?" She asked them.
"I just want some orange juice." Prudence replied with a smile.
"Just orange juice?" Ashton asked.
"I ate at home." She shrugged, of course, Ashton had no way of knowing she was lying to him.
He sighed, "Alright, well I would like a deluxe breakfast platter please. And some orange juice."
The woman jotted their orders down and left their table.

After Ashton had breakfast at the diner, and Prudence took occassional sips of her glass filled with orange juice, they headed to their next destination, The Zoo of Sydney.
The first thing they saw when they went in was the gift shop.
Ashton's eyes lit up with excitement and he was just about to run into the store when Prudence linked arms with him and dragged him farther into the zoo. The first exhibit were the flamingos. Prudence laughed when she saw him crinkle up his nose.
"These animals smell really bad." He pinched the bridge of his nose.
"But they are so beautiful." She added.
"Yeah," He agreed, but he pulled her towards the other animals. "But lets go look at the lions or something. I think the smell is gonna make us pass out."
