He arrived at her house the next morning to see her leaving the house with her mum.
Walking up the driveway to greet her, he told her with a smile. "Goodmorning, Pru. Are we still gonna hang out today?"
She gasped. "Oh, I totally forgot. I have a doctor's appointment, but we can hang out when I get back."
He watched her, suspicion clear on his face. "You go to the doctor a lot. Is something wrong?"
"I'm fine." She replied to him with a smile. "I'll be back soon and we can hang out."

Calum laughed, clearly amused when he saw his mate walk past the front door, his shoulders slumped in defeat. "Aww, did she turn you down, Lucas?"
"She went to the doctor." Luke announced, walking into the livingroom and sitting down on the couch with the other boys.
"Is she sick?" Ashton asked with concern.
Luke shrugged. "She told me she was fine."
"Isn't it suspicious that she goes to the doctor quite a lot?" Calum asked.
"Now that you mention it," Ashton said, thinking back to something that happened when he'd first started talking to Prudence. "There was one time when I bumped into her in the hallway and I noticed her arm was all bruised up. And she told me she bruises easily."
Michael reasoned, trying to be optimistic. "But...if she were sick, she would let us know. Right?"

The moment three hours passed, he grabbed his phone and headed out the door. She told him she'd be back within three hours and he didn't want to waste any time.
It was the early afternoon when he knocked on her front door for the second time that day. But instead of Prudence being the one to open the door, Lucy was the one to answer it. "Uh," Luke began awkwardly, "Is Prudence home?"
"Oh," Lucy said, her smile dropping. She probably expected Calum to be the one at the door. "She was waiting for you, but then Sam dropped by unexpectedly and they went for a walk." She informed him.
"Where did they go?" He asked her.
Lucy replied with a shrug. "I think she said they were going down to Bethune park. The one next to the new high school."
Quickly pulling out his phone from his pocket, he started a group chat with Ashton and Michael.
"Prudence went out :/" He typed into his phone and hit send.
Michael's response came first. "Ha. Left you hanging again. She must not be interested."
"sorry mate :p" Ashton replied.
"but she went out with sam knightley -.-"
"what?"
"ur shitting me u_u"
"nah mate. they went to the park together. we need to do something."
"we'll meet you at the park, but somewhere in the shadows."
