I woke up feeling incredibly light.

I went straight to the shower.

Jace promised me he will accompany me to the grocery today.

I was already set when I heard a knock at the door.

"Its me Jace!" He shouted through the door.

I laughed at him as I opened the door for him.

"You don't have to shout." I told him

He just smiled and gave me a hug and a kiss in the cheek.

He went straight to the kitchen and prepared the table. He brought breakfast for us.

We left my place after eating then went to the grocery store.

Jace's POV

Almost everybody was staring at us while we are doing the groceries. We were arguing over some products from time to time.

"Aww, such a cute young couple doing groceries together." I heard one middle aged woman whispered to the 6year old kid that seemed like her daughter.

Her daughter looked at us with sparkle in her eyes as she giggled.

"Mama I want a husband like him!" She said while pointing at me.

I chuckled. As if having a husband is like buying a toy from a toy store.

The mother must have seen me noticing them because she lowered her daughters hand that pointed me while whispering something to her daughter. Then they hurriedly went to the next section avoiding my stare.

Meanwhile, Danielle is too focused with doing her groceries to even notice the people around us.

This time she is holding two different brands of canned mushroom in her hands. Alternately switching her gaze into the cans.

I chuckled.

She looks so cute.

She is more meticulous with picking up ingredients than me considering I'm the chef.

"I would just go to the other side. Can you wait for me here? Ill be back in a minute." She suddenly told me.

I wanted to protest but she already is  making her way to the other side of the canned section.

I was left with no choice but do as I was told. Ill wait for her here.

Just moments after Danielle left I heard an unwanted familiar voice calling me.

"Jace-y honey!"

I saw the annoying girl walking towards me.

"I miss you Jace-y!" She said as she leaned towards me.

I stopped her by pushing her gently before she was even able to hug me.

She is so freaking annoying.
