Jace's POV
Our weeks have gone really fast.
Danielle was usually busy with work though she was busier preparing the package for her family. She would often go to stores and buy stuffs for her family. I accompany her whenever possible.
I, on the other hand, was helping my friend, who is the owner of the restaurant I was working in, with the renovation of our kitchen. We are making sure everything would be perfect.
Both Danielle and I were busy these days that our bonding time would just be over dinner.
I knew that it would not be healthy for our relationship so I plan on having a vacation this weekend with her.
After setting everything in place, we fixed our schedule and I decided to bring her into a small town. I was aiming for a break from the busy life in the city.
"Its beautiful here, Jace." Danielle said while looking through the car window.
I nodded in agreement. The view is magnificent.
You could see perfect green plains. Trees surrounding the area makes the surroundings cooler. It is also breezy but it just adds to the charisma of the place. Everywhere you turn is worthy for a postcard.
"I knew you would like it here." I told her.
We soon reached a small house. It was a bungalow type. It has a wide garden filled with flowers of almost all colors.
"Who's place is this?" She asked looking at the house.
"It's my aunt's and her family. They are not here though. They are on a vacation so I asked her if we can stay here over the weekend." I explained.
We got inside.
Danielle was looking at the whole place wide eyed.
"Why don't you explore the place as I place our things in the guest room?" I suggested.
She excitedly nodded.
"Just don't go too far." I said as she closed the door.
"Will not!" I heard her shout from outside.
I fixed our things then made a sandwich in the kitchen.
I went outside and found Danielle in the swing under the tree.
I placed the tray I was holding in the table nearby.
"Thank you for bringing me here Jace." She said as she noticed me.
"Its wonderful here. Its so peaceful." She continued.
I just smiled and hugged her from behind.
"Glad you liked it." I said.
Everything is flooded with reddish orange light coming from the sunset.
Everything is perfect.
After moments of admiring the place, the sun slid back to its nest so I invited Danielle to get inside.
We prepared dinner and ate together afterwards.
We shared stories over dinner. Laughing out loud knowing no one will hear us anyway.
