Chapter 19 part2

A week has gone by

The counseling has been helpful. Father Paul helped me see everything with hope and direction. He made me understand better most, if not everything. He taught me to just trust God.

God needed me to be in here to be stronger. I knew that even before but now I somehow understand more. Now I found a place near peace, inner peace. Peace from the incident. Not totally but at least now I get most of it.

It is not my fault that Jace didn't trusted me,

it was my fault in the first place because I let him have his doubt.

It was not his fault that he left me,

it was necessary that time.

"Will you be ready to see him now?"

I'm not sure.

But anger was no where found in my heart. There were no regrets.

I just trust God that He will only let happen things to me because I needed it.

Yet, I know, a part of me misses Jace.

I know I still love the guy. The guy that made me feel alive, made me happy.

Destiny was just not in our favor when the incident happened.

But I'm sure our love was real.

I hope one day, in God's time we'll meet I don't know what will happen, what I'll say but I just hope I could at least say sorry.

I was caught up by Jayson who was on stage.

Jayson was calling everyone's attention

We were in a restaurant. I was zoning out and didn't even realized that Jayson left our table and went to the stage.

I didn't realized, I have been like this a lot lately. I have been thinking a lot about Jace.

I caught Jayson's eyes and he smiled at me.

Jays has been supportive. He was with her all the time. He never left me although I was basically the one who left him in the first place before. He never left my side.

"Ladies and gentlemen, good evening." Jayson greeted everyone.

Jayson looked amazing on stage. He looked as if he was born to be in there.

"I'm sorry if I am disrupting your wonderful dinner but I have a very wonderful lady on that table and if you guys permit, I would like to dedicate a song for her." Jayson said gesturing his hand on my direction. Everybody looked at me with smile on their lips. I hear some telling me how beautiful they think I am. Others tell how lucky I am to have Jayson.

I shook at their comments. They don't even know we were just friends.

"Now, gentlemen. Easy. She's with me. Sorry." Jayson said smiling.

Everybody laughed with his remark.

Jayson held the guitar and sat on the stool.

"Dani, this is for you."

Jayson started strumming the guitar with obvious familiarity on the instrument. His fingers pressed the keys gracefully producing a melody that was wonderful.

Heart beats fast

Colors and promises

The crowd became quiet letting Jayson's gorgeous voice fill the room.

Those hands that were producing the melody everybody was appreciating, those were the very same hands that were holding me and never letting me go.

Jayson caught my eye and stared at me while singing the song with all emotions. Emotions I am not sure exactly what but he is obviously pouring it in front of me.

Jayson stopped strumming which makes everyone appreciate his voice more. Still staring directly at me, he continued singing.

He held the guitar in his hands and continued strumming.
