Chapter 8 part2

Jace's POV

The visit to my parent's house has been great. My mom insists she wanted to see Danielle often, in which both Danielle and I were glad with. My mom absolutely love Danielle. My dad called the day after we visited them and complained that my mom cannot stop talking about how she feel about my girlfriend. He said he had to make sure Danielle and I would visit them again soon.

Danielle on the other hand has been grateful. I can see how she misses her mom and saw the "motherly figure" on mine.

I felt terribly mushy about everything. My family without a doubt adores and approves my girlfriend. My sister already talked with Danielle over the phone and I can see they are also going along well.

Satisfied with everything, the only dream I could have right now is Danielle's family's approval. Although I already talked to her dad, it would still be nicer if it would be more personal.

I expressed my feelings with Danielle and she organized a "skype meeting" with her family at the end of the week. I laughed at the idea but it seems practical at the moment.

I felt a little nervous about "seeing" her family. I actually don't know what to expect but Danielle assures me that they will also like me. I felt weird that Danielle and I seemed to have switched our positions. I am now the nervous one in meeting her parents.

"Jace!" I heard Danielle called me from the kitchen.

Danielle is now on skype talking with her dad. I am on the bedroom as I excused myself to go to the bathroom. Well in reality, I was just so nervous.

I breathe in deeply.

I went to the kitchen and saw Danielle laughing while looking at the laptop.

"Oh here he is." She said to the one on the screen as she motioned me to go near her.

As soon as I sat on the stool beside her, I saw a middle aged guy with few grayish hair and beard. He looked like a young santa only with shorter beard.

"Oh so you're Jace." He said as soon as he noticed me. "How are you my guy?"

Him, calling me as his guy made me happy.

"I'm good sir." I replied politely.

"Don't "sir" me. You can call me "dad" if you want." He said as he shrugged.

I felt Danielle smiled beside me. I can't help but to smile also.

I felt overflowing happiness. Danielle has been calling my parents as "mom" and "dad" and now, I can call her father as "dad" also.

"Sure dad." I said.

"Good. I hope you're taking good care of our girl there, boy. Remember our agreement over the phone okay? Take good care of her and I will just sit here. Hurt her and I will kick your ass.."

"And burn it." I finished the sentence for him to show I haven't forgotten about that.

"Dad.." Danielle said to her dad.

"What? It is a guy to guy agreement. We are morbid talking individuals." He said.

I just smiled as Danielle shook her head.

The "skype meeting" with Danielle's family turned great.

I've met her brother, Harry who also gave me a threat if ever I hurt his sister. I also saw her younger sister, Yna who just shyly smiled at me. I love her in an instant. She kept on smiling and didn't talked but I felt she likes me.

As soon as we were done, I pulled Danielle for a hug.

"God, I so love this girl."

"Happy?" She asked.

I just nodded and hugged her tighter.

"Relieved?" She teased.

"More than ever." I honestly replied.

I expressed how much I love her family.

She just smiled at me.

"I'm so living the life." I told her as I placed my hands around her waist.

"I've met the girl of my dreams who is now, my girlfriend. My family loves my girl and my girl's family likes me." I added.

"I love you Jace." She simply replied.

"And I love you, will always love you, will never stop loving you, my Danielle." I told her thoughtfully as I captured her lips with mine.
