Chapter 15: Possessive

My fingers are limber as they dance across the keys. Slowly, the music seems to fill the room.

Isen: It's hard to believe. That I couldn't see.

Together: You were always there beside me. Thought I was alone. With no one to hold. But you were always right beside me.

Sam: This feelings like no other.

Together: I want you to know. I've never had someone that knows me like you do, the way you do. I've never had someone as good for me as you, no one like you. So lonely before I  finally found. What I've been looking for.

Sam: So good to be seen. So good to be heard.

Together: Don't have to say a word.

Isen: For so long I was lost. So good to be found.

Together: I'm loving having you around.

Isen: This feeling's like no other.

Together: I want you to know. I've never had someone that knows me like you do, the way you do. I've never had someone as good for me as you, no one like you. So lonely before I  finally found. What I've been looking for.

“Perfect! Perfect!” Ms. Herrer shouted.

Buong linggo nagrerehearse ang music club para sa mini musical competition na sasalihan namin. Naisipan kasi namin na sumali para if ever na manalo kami eh may pandagdag kami sa club funds. We're planning to have an out of town swimming kasi sa sembreak kaya todo kayod kami for funds. May budget naman ang school para sa mga clubs pero iba pa rin pag may extra income.

Two weeks mula ng magsimula yung klase namin: sila Ian at Jess yung unang sumabak sa competition, tapos after nila sila Steph, Liana at Dustin naman. This week, kami ni Isen. Sobrang pressured kami ni Isen--ay mali ako lang pala kasi kalmado lang kasi itong partner ko, dahil nanalo yung dalawang nauna sa amin.

“OMG pag nanalo sila Elle at Leone, aabot na ng 80 thousand pesos yung funds natin. Tapos next next competition 10 thousand yung grand prize, so Sarah, Denise, Rob at Shawn galingan niyo ha? Ramdam ko na ang trip natin to El Nidoooooo!” excited na sabi ni Liana.

“Grabeng pressure ha, Liana. Paano pag natalo kami?” pabirong tanong ni Denise. Si Denise ang pinakabatang member namin dito sa club.

“Nah, think positive always. Dito sa music club natin bawal ang nega. Nega is no no no. Intiendes?” Liana answered her.

“Paano pag natalo sila Elle?” singit naman nitong si Shawn. Napatingin tuloy ako sa gawi niya.

Si Liana naman ay mataray na naglakad papunta sa pwesto ni Shawn. “Anung basis mo para maitanong yan ha? Di mo ba sila narinig na kumanta kanina?”

Shaw smirked at Liana. “Narinig. Pero kasi they're in love. Maganda ang chemistry nila ngayon kasi they're in good terms. What if mamaya, or bukas or sa araw ng competition mag-away sila, paano na?”

“We're professionals, Shawn. Hindi namin dinadala sa school or sa performance yung mga issues namin, kung meron man..” kalmado kong sagot sa kanya.

Sasagot pa sana si Shawn pero naunahan siya ni Isen “Elle and I will win this. I assure you that. Just focus on your singing, dahil baka ikaw yung maging cause ng pagkatalo nila Denise.” I can feel irritation in his voice.

“Oh tama na yan. Baka saan pa yan mauwi. Let's meet again tomorrow. Okay?” Ms. Herrer dismissed us.

Hindi nagsasalita si Isen habang pabalik kami sa classroom namin. Magkasama pa naman sa iisang class ang section 1 and 2 ngayon.
