Brad's POV

.

.

I woke up due to a very pressing matter. Yes, I needed to pee.

But as I opened my eyes, the sight in front of me made my heart pound and my stomach flutter. Violet was lying right beside me, her head on my shoulder and her arm on my stomach, while my arms were wrapped around her. Her ginger hair was wild and sprawled on the pillow. Her lips looked swollen and there were a few hickeys on her neck. She looked gorgeous.

My heart did a somersault as I remembered what had happened last night. I had made love to Violet and in the process, I had taken her virginity. I groaned when I realized that we were both drunk. She'd want to kill me for it. What had I done?

Just the thought of her reaction made my stomach drop. She would've wanted it to be special with someone special, but I ruined it for her. I can't believe that I lost control like that.

But it was Violet, the girl I'm in love with. It's a miracle I had held myself back for so long and had never even kissed her. I never even mentioned my feelings in fear of losing her completely, and now I had gone and made the biggest mistake of my life.

No, no, no and fucking no. That's not what I meant.

Last night was the best I've ever had, but the way it happened wasn't ideal.

And what if she doesn't want to look at me ever again? Even the thought depressed me.

I had to do something.

I had to get out of here and then explain everything to her once she's calm enough. I'll confess my love if she'd want to hear it.

But leaving in the morning is a douchebag move!

I don't have a choice, or do I?

She'd be hungover when she'd wake up. I'm slightly hungover. We aren't at home. It wouldn't be good for us if an argument happened in such conditions.

I sighed, I'll do what I had to, let's just hope this isn't the wrong choice.

I felt a hand crushing my heart as I gently separated myself from her. I placed her clothes from last night neatly on a chair. Picking up my discarded clothes, I went into the bathroom.

I felt like crying for ruining what could have been. Had I bid my time and asked her on a simple date, it'd have been different. We could've been together.

You still can. You just have to talk to her.

I quickly get dressed again and walked out of the bathroom. Stopping before the bed, I bent down and kissed her forehead affectionately. I can't believe I'm doing this. I don't wanna leave her here.

Shaking my head to clear my mind, I left the room before I could change my mind and ruin the tiny chance that's left for us. I saw Isaac sleeping on the couch. At least I know that he'll safely drop her home. Had he not been here, I wouldn't have left, no matter what. Her safety comes before any chance we could have together.

Once out of the cabin, I started my bike and took off at full speed. I sped through the roads for hours and only stopped when my bike gave away. The gasoline had ran out.

I was on some road where there was little traffic. I don't even know where I was. Taking out my iPhone, I opened Google maps and my eyes widened when I realized that I was at least one and a half hours away from home. Fuck!
