Justin's Pov~~*

Brittany was taking a long time, and it was making me worried, i got myself up, and went outside, the fire was out, and the scent of the out fire filled my nose, where could she have went.

Justin: Brittany, are you out here, are you playing games with me, are you gonna jump out and scare me or something because please don't do that, or i'll shit myself.

I walked to the edge of the lake, and stood over it, but she just wouldn't leave me, she would tell me if she was going anyway, i noticed Brittanys torch was laying at the side, i picked it up, and put it on letting the light of it shine through, i looked around with the torch in my hand, trying to see if there is any signs on where she could have disapeered, but she just wouldn't leave, she wouldn't do that, i was getting worried and really scared now, what happen if someone took her, i didn't hear anything, nothing at all.

I looked back at the water, and thats when i noticed something flooting under it, what was it, i shined the torch over it and realised it was a body, i gasped and jumped back in fear, it was Brittany because her hair was showing up at the top, oh fuck shes fell in, shes fell into the lake, shit, i jumped in, it was freezing like freezing, this lake has no bottom, shit this can't be happening, i told her not to go anywhere near the edge, i didn't want her falling in, i grabbed her it was hard i eventually got her out, and lay her on the ground, i hauled myself out, and leaned over her in a panic, oh please say she isn't gone, this can't happen again, she was breathing, not breathing at all, i pumped her chest with my hands, and gave her mouth to mouth, but nothing was working, it wasn't working at all.

"Come on Brittany, wake up".

I said as i continued to pump her chest, and blow hair into her mouth, and then a miracle happened, she flinced and started jerking about her, she coughed up water, and i sat her up and pulled her into my arms and kissed her and held her tight and cried a little, a sense of relief rushed over me, she was alive.

Brittany: Justin.... I

Justin: its okay, ssh everythings gonna be okay, i'll not let that water hurt you again i thought i lost you for a second there, i told you not to go in there silly

Brittany: i didn't i slipped, because...

Justin: because you what, lets get you dried, your shaking and your cold

I picked her up scooping her into my arms, i carried her back to the tent, and lay her down, she sat herself up again, and rumaged through her bag, and picked out some dry clothes, i did to, i gave her privacy by letting her change inside the tent and i got changed outside, i was still shaking from that, i can't believe she fell in, i thought i almost lost her, i couldn't have lost her in that lake, i didn't want that to happen again, and i'm so grateful she pulled through, shes my little fighter, after i put dry boxers on, i let the wet ones at on a log, and i took Brittanys too as she flung them out, i went back inside, and pulled her close, i'll be even more protective over her now.

Brittany: thanks for saving me

Justin: i had to i wouldn't have left you in there, but are you okay now

Brittany: yeah i'm fine justin, i'm fine please don't worry

Justin: but i have to worry, look at me am shaking here right now and i'm gonna get upset now, i thought i lost you just for a second i thought oh shit i can't have this happen again, and it nearly did, and you don't know how relieved i am that it didn't happen

She pulled me into a hug as i stared crying, yes i'm crying, because i was petrified, her hug was so warm and comforting, the tears wouldn't stop.
