joy loved almost everything about taehyung.

she loved his soft silky hair and the way his eyes curve whenever he smiles that contagious rectangle grin. from the way he walks like a runway model to his eccentric and sanguine yet serious personality ─ she loved it all.

the only thing she hated about him is the fact that he can't love her back.

why?

joy often wondered of the reason. the reason why had taehyung offered to date her in the first place when he didn't even share the same feelings as her.

"he's just using you, joy." park jimin, her older brother, had warned.

joy stared at him, "why do you say so?" she asked. "aren't you two bestfriends?"

jimin sighed, "that's why you should breakup with him, because taehyung is my friend and you're my sister."

stubborn as she was, joy bombarded his brother for a comprehensible reason why she should do as he says.

"he'll only hurt you if you keep doing this." jimin almost sounded as if he was begging.

"not reasonable enough."

"park sooyoung!" jimin exclaimed, startling the called girl. "fine, do what you want. but don't come crying to me when you get hurt just because you didn't listen to me."

"...fine."
