joy was wide awake now. the incident that occured just a minute ago had driven all her senses back to full consciousness. panicking, joy paced back and forth in the hallway while muttering curses of regrets under her breath. not a minute or so later, the click of the door being unlocked sounded, causing joy to stop. glancing behind her, joy found eunwoo, now fully dressed, exiting the bathroom.

unconsciously, the memory of him naked flashed in her mind and she had to look away. witnessing her little action, eunwoo ruffled his damped hair in both frustration and embarrassment. why didn't he lock the bathroom? such a dumbass.

"look," eunwoo began. "let's just forget about what happened just now, okay?"

gnawing onto her lower lip, joy hesitantly nodded. though, the problem was, how was she suppose to forget that?!

"y-yeah..." joy silently muttered. "i'll...try."

eunwoo nodded, "yes, please do." he paused. "but, just how did you not notice that someone else was in the washroom?!"

yes, he was right. how did she not notice. it was her fault for not noticing that someone had occupied the shower. but then, he was also partly at fault too.

"i'm sorry that i didn't notice ─ i was half asleep." joy acknowledged her fault. "but you were at fault here too. you didn't lock the door, you left it unlocked."

"i guess you're right." eunwoo sighed. "i apologize too. you had to see something like that the first thing in the morning. sorry."

joy shrugged. "it's fine. i'll just have to...um, try to forget it."

there was silence afterwards. feeling uncomfortable, eunwoo rubbed his nape and asked, "do you want to have breakfast now?"

"ah." joy blinked. "yeah, sure."

eunwoo smiled gently. "but first, why don't you dry your face off while i get breakfast ready?" he suggested. "i'll wait for you in the kitchen."

joy nodded. "okay." she couldn't wipe her face earlier because eunwoo suddenly appeared from the shower. so until now, her face is still dripping wet.

when eunwoo had gone down the stairs, joy also headed back to the bathroom and found a towel hanging on the hanging bar attached onto the wall. after she finished drying her face, joy hurried down to the kitchen. she found eunwoo placing down the breakfast he prepared down on the table. heading towards him, she settled herself down on a chair. so did eunwoo.

"where's your parents and sister?" joy asked as she munched on her breakfast.

"my parents go to work early so they left home long ago." eunwoo explained. "as for my sister...she's still sleeping."

"ah, i see." joy nodded.

soon enough, they finished consuming their food. since they had classes today, they had no choice but go to school. it was no problem for eunwoo, but joy was skeptical, considering what happened last night. she will certainly meet her brother and taehyung in university.

in the end, she came to university with eunwoo. his house was a walking distance to the university so they just walked together. when they reached the campus, joy grew panicked and began to look around cautiously, incase her brother or taehyung comes by.

"what's wrong?" eunwoo asked, noticing her panicked state.

joy shook her head. "i-it's nothin─"

"PARK SOOYOUNG!" an awfully familiar voice called out her name.

joy froze. with wide eyes, she glanced behind her and found her park jimin heading her way. she didn't want to face him right now. she will surely get scolded.

and so, she ran.
