taehyung spent another hour just sitting around on the rooftop in daze. he spent the entire hour there, thinking. he thought about his past actions and how much he regretted doing them. he should have been more appreciative and considerate, yet he couldn't even do any of that.

by the time taehyung decided to leave the rooftop, the only class he had today had already ended. he completely missed his class because he was distracted. but then again, he didn't feel like going to it anyways.

walking through the hallways in a daze, taehyung meant to go home when suddenly, a hand landed on his shoulder. taehyung looked back and found jimin staring at him intently.

"have you seen joy?"jimin asked, exhaustion evident in his voice. "i've been looking for her all day. i checked her classes and she's not in any of them."

"i don─" taehyung paused. "actually, i met her..."

"you did?" jimin almost smiled but contained himself, remembering that he and taehyung fought just yesterday night. "where? did she say where she went?"

taehyung shook his head, "i-i'm sorry jimin. i-i hurt her..."

slowly, a frown develops on jimin's face as he realizes the meaning behind taehyung's words.

"what did you do?" jimin's tone becomes serious, enough to somehow intimidate taehyung. "what the hell did you do?!"

taehyung winces as jimin's grip on his shoulder tightens, but he dares not show it. instead, taehyung endured the pain and looked right into jimin's eyes.

"i remember."

jimin raises an eyebrow, his grip loosening. "what do you mean?"

"my memories of joy returned." taehyung answered, earning a surprised look from jimin.

"they did?!" jimin exclaimed and let go of his hold onto taehyung. "that's goo─ wait. but that doesn't change anything. you still hurt my sister and you're going to apologize!"

startled by jimin's sudden outburst, taehyung sighed and nodded. "i'm planning to. but the problem is, i don't know where she is."

"we may not know where she is right now, but at the end of the day, i bet she'll return home eventually." jimin said. "we can just wait for her at my house and when she comes, you do your thing."

taehyung sighed and hoped that jimin's words were true. "alright..."
