"kim taehyung!" jimin came rushing in, along with taehyung's parents into the room to find taehyung sitting up on his hospital bed, in trance.

"oh, jimin." he beamed at the sight of his best friend and parents. "mom, dad."

"thank God you're awake." jimin sighed in relief as he watched taehyung's mom and dad gather around their son and firmly embrace him.

"how do you feel?" taehyung's mom asks in concern. taehyung responds with a, "my head hurts."

while they converse, jimin scans the room for his sister but finds her nowhere in sight. turning his attention back to taehyung, he questions,

"where's joy?"

taehyung stares at him in utter confusion and responds.

"who's that?"

a/n: guess what? i didn't plan to have taehyung get amnesia. i initially planned that when tae and joy falls from the stairs, tae would still be conscious and jin and irene would be standing in the hallways and see them. but then i changed my mind and thought taehyung might as well pass out and would have to go to the hospital. then, when he wakes up, he pranks joy by saying "who are you?". and once joy panicks, taehyung takes back his words and says he's just kidding.
