the moment joy began to run away, jimin immediately ran after her at top speed. however, the distance between them was too far for jimin to catch up on her. therefore, it didn't take long until jimin lost sight of joy.

"that brat!" he cursed under his breath as he halted into a stop. "how is she so fast?! she's so in trouble when she returns home."

ruffling his tangled hair, jimin grunted in frustration as he spun around, only to find the boy he saw together with his sister earlier heading his way. frowning, jimin straightened himself and eyed the boy suspiciously.

"e-excuse me..." eunwoo muttered as he reached jimin. "w-where did sooyoung go?"

jimin raised an eyebrow. did he just call her 'sooyoung'? jimin thought, intrigued.

"who are you?" he asked sternly. jimin was extremely interested on the reason as to who this boy is to his sister or why he calls her 'sooyoung'. no one beside him or their parents calls his sister 'sooyoung'. all of joy's friends calls her 'joy'.

"i'm cha eunwoo." eunwoo introduced himself. "i guess i'm sooyoung's friend? yeah, i'm her friend. but...who are you?"

jimin glared at him and scrunitized his face at the same time. he's quite good-looking. he unconsciously thought. shaking the thought away, he faced eunwoo properly and declared, "i'm sooyoung's brother."

"brother?" eunwoo seemed surprised. "i couldn't tell..."

"i hear that a lot." jimin said. "by the way, i saw you and sooyoung walking together earlier. do you perhaps know where she stayed for the night?"

"ah," eunwoo exclaimed. "she slept at my house."

"oh, she did? i see─ wait, WHAT?!"
