"Hello?" I said after pressing the answer call button on my phone. Today is Saturday and I decided to fix a few stuff in my room.

"Hi, love," the caller said from the other line.

I looked at my phone screen, and it flashed Gabriel's name. I didn't look at the caller ID when I answered the call. I placed the phone back on my ear and stopped what I was doing. "Hi, baby, what do you need?" I asked.

"Are you busy?"

I looked at all the stuff I still needed to organize. "No, not busy at all."

"Great!" he exclaimed. I chuckled because he sounded so cute. "I called to ask if you want to go out with your boyfriend?"

"Sure," I answered. Something crossed my mind after that so I added, "Tell Jaden I'll go out with him."

There was a long silence on the other line. I tried to stop myself from laughing. Knowing Gabriel, that probably hurt his ego.

"We're so over," he said, breaking the silence.

I burst out laughing. "Just kidding, babe! You know I love teasing you, right?" I laughed again.

He groaned. "I don't like this feeling, Crabby."

"What feeling?" I asked.

"Jealousy." He sighed.

That caught me off-guard. He sounded so serious and I didn't know how to react.

I chuckled to lighten the mood a bit. "I was just kidding, I'm sorry," I said. "But, Mr. Lamppost, one thing you should know is that I hate the controlling, possessive, and overly jealous type of boyfriend. It makes me feel as if you don't trust me enough."

"Don't worry, my love. I wouldn't want to get too obsessive as well," he reassured.

I smiled. It felt nice that he understood me. The kind of obsessive behavior that some people show to their partners had always been my fear before starting a relationship with anyone and I never knew why. I grew up in a carefree and loving household so I don't know how this developed. Maybe I am just too happy with my freedom that imagining someone taking it away from me felt scary. It's also nice that Gabriel knew about this so we know where to set our boundaries.

"So, where will we be going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise," he answered. "Go get ready, I'll pick you up in a few. Love you. See you later," he said before ending the call.

I looked at my phone and shook my head. "Didn't even wait for me to tell him I love him too," I said to myself.

I ignored my stuff that was scattered on the floor. I'll have time to fix them later anyway. Gabriel comes first for now.

I went to my closet to get the dress Bianca gave me. It was a dress that had a sparkly silver top and a light blue flowy chiffon skirt that stopped just right above my knee. There was no better time than now to use that dress. I also pulled out the hair extensions I used for the play.

After placing the dress on my bed, I grabbed my towel and walked to the bathroom to shower.

"We're here," Gabriel told me when he stopped the car. I couldn't see a thing because he placed a blindfold on me before we left.

"Can I take off my blindfold now?" I asked.
