6 years later...

"Good morning, ladies, " I greeted the cashier and my secretary who are sitting on the front desk.

"Good morning, miss, " they greeted back.

"How are the sales for this month, Bethany? " I asked the cashier.

"Doing good, miss as always, " she said and I smiled.

Welcome to my fashion boutique! Yes, you read that right. My fashion boutique. We just opened a few months ago and sales are already going great.

"Lia baby!" someone called from behind. I looked at the entrance and I saw Christian.

I rolled my eyes. "Call me that one more time and I'll tell Raine to give you a bloody nose."

"Chill, Ms. Lianna Tyler. You would scare your customers and interviewers, " he said and I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want from me? Don't you have work or something?" I said, walking around the boutique and fixing some clothes that are out of order.

"I miss you. Is that wrong?" he said and I looked at him with knitted eyebrows.

I raised my right brow. "Bullsh*t."

"You still have a sailor's mouth, Lianna banana."

"What do you want?" I crossed my arms.

"You."

"Do you want me to tell your Mer-bear that you're flirting with me?" I said and his eyes widened.

"Don't you dare, " he glared at me and I laughed.

"What do you need?"

"Help me buy an engagement ring, " he said.

"Why me? How 'bout Raine? I love Mary, Christian but Raine knows a lot about her so Raine will be able to pick the perfect ring."

"Raine is busy, Lianna banana. Job hunting, remember?"

"Ugh! I forgot about that. Alright, alright. I'll come with you."

"Yey!" he kissed me on the cheek. "I love you, Lia baby! Bye!"

"You as*hole! Don't come back ever!" I yelled as I watch him run to the door.

"I won't!" he yelled back as he was opening the door. "For now!"

I just shook my head. Christian's not my boyfriend anymore. We broke up three years ago and now he's planning on marrying Mary.

Mary is his girlfriend when they were high school. She's so pretty and sweet. I met her three years ago when Christian and I celebrated our third anniversary. Raine came with us because she said that she doesn't have anything better to do and she was trying to move on from a nasty breakup. Raine saw Mary and because they're best friends, Raine called her. She approached our table and she and Christian exchanged some awkward greetings and Raine introduced me to her. After that, Raine went with her and left us.

Days after that, Christian told me the story why he and Mary broke up. Raine, Christian, and Mary were supposed to study in New York. They both got accepted except for Raine who took the exams again the next year.

The week before they were about to leave for New York, Christian went to Mary's house. Mary's mother told Christian that Mary flew to Boston the night before because she got accepted in Harvard. Mary didn't tell Christian that she got in because she knew how Christian hated long distance relationships because his family got ruined due to long distances. Christian hated her. He said that he would've understood if Mary wanted to go to Harvard. It isn't necessary for her to keep it a secret and just leave him. He tried calling her but she didn't answer. After that, he stopped moping and flew to New York as planned but he was alone. Raine didn't come with him because she'll be resting for a year and Mary left him.
