2 months later...

"Lianna, let's go! I promise you that this will make you feel better, " Christian said.

"Shut up, Christian. Can't a girl get some shut-eye on this chilly Sunday afternoon?" I said while my eyes are still closed.

"I just have to show you something, please."

"No."

"Please."

"Pester Raine and just leave me alone."

"Raine is on a date. She'll beat me up if I pester her."

I sighed and opened my eyes. "Fine. Let's go." I said, standing up.

"Great. Prepare a thick coat and boots, " He said and I just nodded. "I'll wait for you outside, " he said before getting out of the room.

I changed into a long-sleeved shirt and some pants. I brought a sling bag and I wore my boots before going out.

"Now, where are you taking me?" I asked Christian who is waiting for me by the exit of the dorm building. I quickly put on my coat and he grabbed my hand.

"You'll like it, I promise," he said and pulled me outside.

"Central Park. Why did you bring me here?" I asked Christian while we were walking to the lake.

"Why? Don't you like it here?" He asked.

"No. I actually love it here. Raine and I went here when we toured the city."

"Well, I took you here because I want you to see something, " He said and as if on cue, snow started to fall.

"Oh my gosh! It's snowing!" I cheerfully said and played with the snow.

"This is the first snowfall of the year, " he said and I just continued catching the tiny snow droplets. "Did you know that in Korea, it is believed that when you confess to someone or be with someone during the first snowfall, you'll stay together for a long time?"

"No, but that's so romantic. The first snowfall on its own can already captivate you, " I said. "Wait! How did you know about that? Are you watching Korean dramas?"

"No. Raine told me. You know she has an obsession with Korean dramas and Kpop. She told me that if I wanna please a girl, I should confess to her on the day of the first snowfall."

"Aww... that's so cute. Have you done it?"

"No, but I'm about to, " he said and I looked at him. "Lianna, " he held both of my hands. "I know it's sudden. I just can't hide it anymore."

"Christian, wha–"

"I know. You're still not over Gabriel and that's alright. I don't expect you to return my feelings anyway, " he sighed. "I don't know when it happened but when I was with you this past two months, I felt something. Something that can't be felt for a person who is just your friend, " he said and I looked at the ground. He raised my chin and I met his eyes. He took a deep breath before saying, "I like you, Lianna. I like you a lot."

"For how long will you ignore Christian?" Raine asked. We are currently walking to the exit of the building. It's been a week since Christian confessed and I've been avoiding him. After he confessed in Central Park, I didn't respond and I became I freakin' mute while we went back to the dorm room.
