"Make sure to be honest about your feelings so that in the end, you'll at least know you didn't leave anything unspoken." ~Unknown

"So, what are you planning to do?" Stella asked. I called her just to get her opinion and advice. A day has passed since I told Mom everything. I thought I had it all sorted out but whenever I think about it, it's still so hard to choose.
"I don't know again." I chuckled bitterly. "What do you think I should do?"
"Seriously, I can't even think of a good advice to tell you," she answered, and I sighed.
I closed my eyes, hoping that it will help me in deciding. I was so sure about Jaden before then Gabriel comes in and I was ready to choose him but then I thought of Jaden again.
"As your mom said, Lianna, just follow your heart but I'd like to add something to that. Follow your heart but also listen to your mind. Always be wise in choosing," Stella said.
I nodded. "You know what, I think I have it almost sorted out."
"That's the trick! I'll give you some more time to think, okay?"
"Okay. Thanks, Stella."
"Bye, Lia," she said before dropping the line.
I sighed before looking at my contacts. I silently chuckled when I saw that their names are next to each other.
Suddenly, a thought came to my head and I pressed on one contact, rang him up, and waited for him to answer.
"Hello?" he answered.
"Hi, Jaden," I said with a sad smile.
"What's the matter?" he asked.
"Can we meet?"
"Sure. I'll pick you up," he answered.
"No need," I quickly said. "Just meet me at the fountain later."
"Okay," he said. "I love you."
I was taken aback. I felt like someone just punched a hole through my heart. Tears formed in the corners of my eyes.
"Bye." That's the only thing I said before ending the call.
I am such a terrible person. Jaden is a nice and sweet guy. He deserves all the love in the world and hurting him is going to make me the most horrible.
I love him still but it's not like before. My heart beats for a different person now and that is Gabriel.
I dried my tears and stood up to get dressed. My eyes and nose are a bit puffy from all that crying so I just applied a little bit of powder. I didn't put much on my face and hair because I'm not in the mood to fix myself.
I then booked a cab and went to the fountain where Jaden took me before.
When I got there, I saw him sitting on the side of the fountain. He stood up when he saw me. I walked towards him. I got startled when he ran to meet me halfway and hugged me.
"This will be the last time I'll get to hold you like this so please just let me," he said.
I cried on his shoulder. "J-Jaden, I have to be honest with you..." I said in between sobs.
"I know and I understand," he said, pulling me out of his grasp to look at my face.
"I'm sorry, I never wanted to hurt you."
"It's okay. I'm happy for you." He wiped my tears.
"I'm such a terrible person for doing this to you," I said before holding his hand.
