In which a young girl who doesn't believe in magic ends up on the most magical place in the world; an island called Neverland. After spending a few months on the island, she wants to go home. However, two years later, Annie Wood makes her return to...
Annie prepared a plate for Grayson, and brought it into his tent for him. Grayson was asleep, so Annie just set the plate down on his nightstand. Annie noticed that Grayson's blood had soaked the dressing that was put on previously. Annie grabbed another piece of material; a pillow case off the other bed. Annie felt bad for whoever slept in that bed.
Annie went back over to Grayson, and took off the dirty dressing. The bleeding had stopped, there was just dried blood all around the wound. Annie retied the dressing, and left the tent. She looked around for one of the Lost boys, and saw Luke sitting all alone on one of the logs.
"Luke!" Annie yelled to get his attention. Luke turned around briefly, just to see who was calling him. Annie ran over to him and sat down beside him. "I need your help. I have to find a..first aid kit, and some water." Annie said.
"We don't have first aid kits in Neverland. You just gotta use the materials you see here." Luke said.
"Well...I know there's water on Neverland. Take me to it, please." Annie asked.
Luke sighed, and stood up from the log. "Fine, come with me." He said and started walking away.
"Wait!" Annie yelled.
"What?" Luke snapped, turning around.
"I uh..I just need a cup, or a bowl." Annie said.
"Go into that tent. All the kitchen stuff is in there." Luke replied, and pointed to a tent.
"I'll be right back." Annie said and ran to the tent. She pushed the cloth door out of the way and went inside. There was large counters all around, with a large trap door on the floor. On the counters, were stacks of dishes. On the other side of the kitchen, there was a divider. Annie went over to it, and gently pushed it open. She quickly let go when she saw Peter sitting on a bed, picking at his nails. Annie grabbed a bowl, and left the tent. She ran over to Luke, and they started walking.
"So, what do you need all this for?" Luke asked.
"To help Grayson." Annie replied.
"Oh," was all Luke said.
The rest of the walk was silent, but soon, Annie and Luke reached a large body of water with a beach that had nice white sand on it. In the middle of the water, there was an island, and a large rock on it in the shape of a skull.
"Skull rock?" Annie asked.
"Yeah, how'd you know?"
"It's in the story."
Luke nodded. "Well, grab your water. This beach isn't really that safe."
"Why not?"
"Because, there's mermaids out there, and they aren't very nice. trust me." Luke replied. Annie nodded, and quickly grabbed a bowl full of water. Luke gulped as he watched Annie kneel near the water's edge, and how the water started to ripple.
"Come on, Annie. We gotta go." Luke said. Annie turned back to look at him, and he pointed out to the water. Annie faced the water again, and saw a girl with long dark blue hair that surrounded her in the water. Annie could see that she had piercing blue eyes, even with how far away she was.
"Is that a mermaid?" Annie asked. She looked behind her, but Luke was gone. Annie faced the water, and the girl was gone. Annie searched for her, until the strange girl popped her head up, alot closer to Annie this time.
