The mermaid got even closer. "Hello, young one." She said. Her voice was sweet as it flowed out of her mouth.

     Annie gulped. "H-hello."

     "What brings you here?"

"I, um I came here to get some water for my friend. He hurt himself, and I have to clean it." Annie replied.

"Aw, well let me help." The girl said, and gently put her hand in the bowl. She swirled the water around, turning it the same colour as her eyes.

"A-are you a mermaid?" Annie asked.

"Yes, I am." The girl smiled. She pulled her hand out, and returned it back to her side.

"Well, uh thank you Miss Mermaid."

     "Please, call me Indigo."

     "Okay. My name's Annie."

"It's nice to meet you, Annie. Now you best get back to your friend." Indigo said. She smiled, and swam away from Annie. She waved right before she dipped underwater.

Annie stood up, and made her way off the beach. She started walking through the trees of Neverland, trying to find her way back to camp. Annie heard the familiar yells of the Lost boys, and followed the noise. She broke through the trees, and found camp. All the boys were dancing around the fire. Annie slipped past them with no one noticing, and went into her tent. She set the bowl of water down, and grabbed her pillowcase off her bed. Annie then left her tent, with the pillowcase and water. Annie went into grayson's tent. He was sitting up, and eating his food.

"Oh, you're awake." Annie said. Grayson nodded, as he had a mouthful of food. "Uh, is it okay if I change your dressing?" Annie asked.

Grayson swallowed his food before responding. "Yeah, that's fine." He said. Annie nodded, and kneeled down in front of Grayson's would. She untied the dirty dressing, and set it on the floor. Annie dipped one of the pillow cases in the water, and started cleaning up all the blood. The water did alot more than clean though. It healed the whole wound.

     "Woah..." Annie mumbled.

"What? What's wrong?" Grayson asked nervously.

     "Your stab...it's...it's gone." Annie replied.

"What? How's that possible?" Grayson asked. He looked down at his leg, and traced his fingers over where his wound was. There was a tiny scar left in it's place. "Wow, what's in that water?" Grayson chuckled.

"I think the mermaid did it. She said she helped me."

"Mermaid? You can't trust a mermaid, Annie." Grayson said, shaking his head. He had that nervous tone in his voice again.

"You can trust this one." A voice said. Annie turned, and saw Peter standing in the doorway.

"How do you-" Grayson started to say.

"Indigo and I are good friends." Peter replied.

"But Luke told me all mermaids are bad." Annie said. "When Indigo surfaced, he ran off."

"Luke..." Peter sighed. "Luke has been here a long time. He had a bad encounter with a mermaid, but not all of them are bad." Annie nodded, and didn't reply.

"What happened to Luke?" Grayson asked.

"That's something you should ask Luke. Annie, come with me to find him." Peter demanded, and left the tent.

"I'll uh..be back later. Are you done with your plate?" Annie asked. Grayson nodded, and handed her his empty dinner plate. Just as Annie was about to leave, Grayson stopped her.

"Um, Annie?" He said. Annie turned to look at him. "Th-thank you." Grayson said with a small smile.

"You're welcome." Annie replied, and left the tent. She set the plate down on a log, and followed Peter into the woods.
