In which a young girl who doesn't believe in magic ends up on the most magical place in the world; an island called Neverland. After spending a few months on the island, she wants to go home. However, two years later, Annie Wood makes her return to...
Annie could hear the yells and cheers coming from Captain Hook's ship as she approached the beach with the Lost boys.
"Everybody stop. Take cover behind something." Peter demanded, all the boys quickly ducking behind trees and under branches. Annie moved to stand behind a tree, and watched as Grayson went to stand behind a different tree on the opposite side of the path.
They both watched as Peter walked out onto the beach, with two completely different looks on their faces. Grayson held a devilish smirk, while Annie was full of fear and concern. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to relieve her nerves, and tried to focus on Peter's voice rather than the rapid beating of her heart.
"Now!" Pan yelled, and the plan went into action. Annie watched as all the Lost boys ran out onto the beach, blades and bodies flying everywhere.
Annie pushed her thoughts to the back of her mind as she ran out onto the beach, immediately met with a member of Hook's crew that held a sharp sword in his hand. Annie quickly tore one of her knifes out, feeling her pant's belt rip from the blade.
This was life or death for the crew members and the boys. Swords were welded around as they tried to injure their opponent. Annie was distracted for a split second as one of the boys yelled out, his thigh now home to a long cut. It was Troye, and Annie watched him fall down as his crimson blood dripped down into the sand.
"We're done here." Annie hissed, quickly throwing her knife at the man she was fighting. The blade lodged itself in his abdomen as he let out a pained groan.
Annie ran over to Troye, a sword grazing the side of her face as she went. Annie winced in pain as she moved her hand up to her cheek to touch the thin line that oozed blood.
Whoever had hurt Troye had moved on to someone else, but the Lost boy was still crouched down in the sand, covering his wound. Annie kneeled down beside him and moved his hands away. The blood flowed out of his leg, causing Annie to cover the wound with her own hands in a panicked state.
"Come on, you have to move." Annie stated just as a Lost boy bumped his leg into her back while fighting a pirate.
Troye and Annie both let out shrieks of panic as a sword was knocked out of the pirate's hand, landing directly in front of Troye.
"Come on!" Annie removed her hands, no longer seeing a wound. She turned her hands over and studied the blood covered palms.
"I-it's gone." Troye mumbled, looking up at Annie. He then stood up, his leg no longer bleeding and a thin scar in the wound's place.
Annie was speechless as she continued to stare at her hands. She looked up at Troye, her mouth agape and her eyes wide.
"That's imposs-" Annie started to say but was cut off by another sword flying at her.
Annie pulled a knife out of her boot, fighting back against the pirate that approached her and Troye. The boy bent down to pick up the sword that fell earlier, grimacing at the blood stain on the sand.
Troye was distracted by another pirate when all of a sudden, the pirate she was fighting dropped his sword. Annie felt someone grab her wrist of the hand that was holding her knife, ready to throw it. Pressure was applied, making Annie groan and drop her knife.
Before Annie could process what was happening, the two tall and muscular pirates that surrounded her were picking her up from her biceps. Annie was lifted above the ground, her legs trashing violently as she tried to find the ground again.
"No, put me down!" Annie exclaimed, her voice lower than normal. She managed to kick one of the men that was holding her, but he didn't seem too phased by it. All the Lost boys were too busy with their own pirate to help the girl as she was carried across the beach, her back to the ship as she watched the scene of her beloved Lost boys fighting the pirates. Pan didn't seem to be in sight, and Annie could only wonder where he was.
"Pan!" Annie screamed out, praying he'd hear her. He was nowhere to be found, and the last thing Annie saw before she was carried aboard Captain Hook's ship was one of Miles' dreamshade coated arrows skimming past Grayson's arm.
A harsh scream escaped Annie's throat as tears welled up in her eyes. She watched Grayson's face screw up in pain and he clutched his arm, dropping his weapon in the process.
The attack plan didn't work, to say the least. The once beautiful beach of Neverland was now covered in blood, and injured Lost boys. None of them were dead, thanks to Pan's extreme training. If only he'd been here to see how brave and strong his boys are.
Annie was now too exhausted to fight back, and knew she was aboard the ship. The last thing she felt was pressure on her neck before falling unconscious.
