Annie ran until her legs felt like jello, and her lungs burned for air. But she didn't stop. She kept running, taking random turns and going down the many paths of Neverland. Running always helped Annie clear her head, and that's all she needed right now.

With everything from Grayson, to Wendy, Annie needed some time to herself. She didn't think Neverland would be this stressful, for a place where everything is supposed to be fun.

Annie knew she didn't want to go back to where she came from, though. This island was her home now. She didn't know if her mother would be worried about her, but she was probably too drunk to even notice her daughter was missing. Annie kept on running, her hair whipping around behind her. She came to a beach, the same beach where she met Indigo. Annie sat down on the warm sand, and rolled up her pant legs. Her legs stung from all the tree branches, and she even felt a small scratch on her cheek. Anne scooped up some water in her hands, and dumped it on her legs, to clean the scratches. Annie watched as her scratches disappeared, and she looked out at the water. Indigo was above the surface, smiling. Annie waved at her, before she dove underwater.

A few seconds later, Indigo popped her head up much closer to Annie. She propped her self up on the sand, leaving her tail in the water. It was a dark blue, that matched her hair.

"How are you, Annie?" Indigo asked in her elegant voice, that Annie loved to hear.

"I could be better. Things aren't very nice up at camp." Annie replied.

"What's the matter?"

"Well, Peter told me a big secret, that Grayson is his brother, and Grayson overheard him say that. Peter made us go find a letter yesterday, which was for Grayson. And I really want to read it." Annie replied. "And, my new friend left Neverland. She said she didn't belong here, and Peter let her go."

Indigo tsk'd. "That sounds very dramatic." She replied. "But if you want to read the letter, why don't you?"

"I can't invade their privacy like that."

"It's not invading if they let you read it."

"What are you implying, Indigo?" Annie asked.

"I think you should ask them to read it." Indigo smiled.

"Hmm, I could do that." Annie replied.

"You should. Now Inmust go, good luck Annie." Indigo winked, before backing herself up off the sand, and swimming away. Annie sighed, and stood up. She took her time walking back to camp, and when she got there, no one was to be seen.

"Hello?" Annie yelled out, hoping a Lost boy would come out of their tent. A gust of wind hit annie, causing her to shiver. All of a sudden, it started raining. Annie groaned in frustration, and ran to the nearest tent; Peter's.

Annie went inside, and stood in the kitchen. She decided to have something to eat, and pulled open the trap door in the floor. Inside were canned foods, and Annie pulled one out. There was no label on it, so Annie had no idea what she'd be eating. She looked through the drawers for a can opener, and found one. Annie opened the can, and smiled when she saw that there was sliced pineapple inside. She peeled the lid off the can, and threw it away. She then grabbed a fork out of a drawer.

Annie leaned against the counter as she ate the fruit, listening to the rain. She finished her food, and threw out the can. Just as she was about to leave, she decided to check if anyone was in here, and try to find out where everyone was.

Annie slowly pulled the tent flap out of the way, so she could see into the room.

There, sitting on his bed, was Peter. But it wasn't the normal Peter that Annie was used to. It wasn't the Peter that yelled at her this morning.

This Peter was crying.
