Annie and Peter reached Tanner's cage. Annie waited for Peter to unlock it before helping Tanner out.

"Are you okay?" Annie asked. She made sure Tanner wasn't hurt at all.

"Yeah, I'm okay." He replied, smiling.

Peter cleared his throat, and both Annie and Tanner turned to look at him. He gestured for them to follow him, and started walking away. Annie went to follow him, but Tanner grabbed Annie's arm and turned her around.

"Wanna go for a walk?" He asked.

"But Peter wants us to follow him."

"Come on, it'll be fun."

"Tanner, I don't want you getting locked up again."

"Annie, don't worry about me."

Annie sighed, and nodded her head. She followed Tanner into the woods, in the opposite direction as peter. Tanner and Annie came across a large hill covered in grass and small plants. They started to climb up it, and saw that the top was covered in rocks. The hill overlooked the water, and skull rock. Annie and Tanner sat down beside each other, and stared out at the view. Annie saw Indigo pop her head up, and waved at her. The mermaid waved back.

As she waved, Annie heard a small popping noise, and turned around. Behind her and Tanner was a picnic basket made out of wood and grass.

"Look, Tanner." Annie said. Tanner turned around and saw the box.

"Did she put that there?" Tanner asked, referring to Indigo.

"I think so." Annie turned back around, and smiled at Indigo. The mermaid waved once more before diving underneath the water.

"Let's see what's inside." Tanner said. He grabbed the basket by one of the handles, and pulled it towards him. Tanner opened the lid on the basket, and looked inside. "There's food!" Tanner exclaimed. Annie looked inside, and sure enough there was lots of food inside the basket. Tanner started taking stuff out. There was bread, apples, and some sort of meat. There was also a large jug of juice, and two cups.

"Maybe she knew you were locked up, and hungry?" Annie suggested.

"Yeah, maybe." Tanner said. He certainly looked hungry as he took a big bite out of an apple. Tanner and Annie sat in silence for a while, just eating and enjoying the food.

"We should get going." Annie said after a while.

"you really should." A voice said behind her. Annie and Tanner both whipped their heads around, and saw Peter leaning up against a tree.

"Pan...how long were you standing there?" Tanner asked.

"Just a few minutes. Enjoying my food?"

"Your food? Indigo gave this-" Tanner started to say but Peter cut him off.

"I gave that to you. The mermaids aren't capable of stuff like that." Peter replied.

"Oh," was all Tanner said.

"We're sorry, Pan. It was my idea. I thought Tanner should stretch his legs for a while after being locked in a cage, and we just ended up here." Annie cut in. She didn't want Tanner to get in trouble again.

"Hmm. But you still broke my rules."

"I remember your rules, Pan. And not being able to go for a walk isn't one of them." Annie argued. She watched as Peter opened and closed his mouth, thinking of what to say.

"Fine, I'll let this slide. But come with me back to camp. Obeying my orders is one of my rules." Peter finally said.

"All you had to do was ask." Annie mumbled as she stood up, then helped Tanner up. Peter walked down the hill, while Annie and Tanner trailed behind him.

"Thanks for saving me like that." Tanner said quietly.

"Don't worry about it." Annie smiled.

"I mean it, Annie. You didn't have to do that."

"But I did, so it's fine."

"Okay."

Tanner and Annie followed Peter back to camp in silence. It took them a while to get back, considering how far out they walked, and Neverland had grown dark.

When they got back to camp, the flame in the fireplace was softly flickering, and there was no Lost boys in sight. Annie knew they must all be in bed.

"Tanner, I'm sure you remember which bed is yours." Peter said.

Tanner nodded. "Yes, Pan. Thank you."

Peter watched as Tanner started walking towards his tent. "You're welcome." He said to Tanner's back. Tanner glanced over his shoulder, and Annie could tell he was smiling.

"Well, goodnight Peter." Annie said and walked to her own tent, leaving Peter alone in the middle of camp.

Peter was slightly taken aback by Annie calling him by his first name. "Goodnight, Annie." He whispered in the dark.
