Kat stared at herself in the mirror as she brushed her long black hair that fell into gentle waves. She placed the hair brush aside and then swung with her head down to make her hair fall down since it was easier for her to style her hair into a high ponytail. She throw her hair back up and carefully and as nicely as she could, she made a hair ponytail. But as she was tying her hair, she noticed a black spot on her arm.

Her eyes wide and she looked from herself in the mirror, towards her right arm where next to her elbow was a black spot. Panic rose in her head and she tried to wash the spot with water, hoping that she was just careless and didn't wash her body as she should last night. But that hope soon sank into ocean of her panic and only one thought was on her mind at this point: The plague is spreading on my body. The mere realization caused Kat to look at herself in the mirror with pure panic in her eyes.

"Kat!"

The knocking on the door along with Gladiolus voice made her snap out of panic but it was still present inside her body. Her mind was intertwined with fear and shock to see that black spot emerging on her body. She definitely didn't expect the plague to spread this soon.

"Come on, we gotta pay a visit to that First Secretary." Gladiolus reminded her.

"Just a sec." Kat answered back, her voice as normal as she could master.

"Women..."

Gladiolus quiet comment reached her ears, but she didn't pay any attention to it. Her eyes started to scan her exposed skin for any more spots, but luckily, the one next to her right elbow was the only one. Kat couldn't help but to feel relief because of it, but she was in utter fear that the plague will start spreading from inside out faster then she expected.

Kat pulled on the jacket over her tee shirt and folded the sleeves to under her elbows, making sure the black spot remains hidden. Kat took a deep breathe, gathering courage before she left the bathroom as if nothing happen just a few seconds ago. The moment she stepped out of bathroom, she saw the four boys, as patiently as they could, waiting for Kat to do what she has to do in the bathroom.

"Aw..." Kat smiled sweetly. "True definition of gentlemen; always awaiting their lady." Kat joked.

"That would go only for Noctis, right?" Prompto wondered. "Since you know..." He motioned towards Noctis, who let out a small sigh and wished to escape the fact that something did happen between him and Kat.

It was just strange to him. But it was even stranger that the girl he loved was actually their mutual friend. If he wanted to build a relationship between Kat and himself, he would do it in a slow pace. But now with their friends knowing, the two won't be able to have their own peace. For now.

"Let's go." Noctis raised from the bed and made his way towards the doorway.

"We shouldn't keep the First Secretary waiting." Ignis mentioned as they followed after Noctis.

"She'll wait, Iggy." Kat assured him. "She'll let Lady Lunafreya awake the Tidemother but if she does, her primary concern will be the citizens of Altissia. She wants Accordo to be free from Niflheim and she'll do everything to see Empire fall."

"You got that from looking into her soul?" Noctis wondered, glancing at her over his shoulder.

"Yes....and more than that." Kat answered. "But that is her private thing." Prompto gasped.

"We can use that against her!" Prompto said, immediately earning disapproval from his friends.

"That wouldn't be wise." Ignis commented smartly.
