The black spot wasn't disappearing, nor was it spreading for now. Kat stared at the plague on her arm and let out sigh. There was nothing she could do at the moment, but could only pray to the Gods for their Mark to make the Starscourge less of a threat to her. Kat pulled a dark purple shirt over her head that had U neckline and ¾ length sleeves, long enough to cover the spot. She tucked her shirt into black skinny jeans and tightened the black belt.
She brushed her hair in front of the mirror and made two braids on side of her head and clipped them behind her head. Kat put her feet into black ankle booties that had a heel and could be laced. Kat gently giggled as she remembered the relief on boys' faces when they found out she didn't buy the entire store, but just a few items to change her clothes since she was sick of always wearing the same. The prices were too high for her taste.
Once she was ready, she exited the bathroom, letting others use it. It was a day before the rite and they decided to spend it outside in the city of love and make some memories. With everyone ready, they exited out of the hotel onto the shinning sun. Kat observed her surroundings and enjoyed the aura everyone radiated off. Smile danced on her lips and she took a deep breath of Altissian air before facing her companions.
"Hey guys, we should check the arena!" Prompto exclaimed with a wide grin on his lips. "We can bet on beast fights."
It didn't take too long for them to agree. Noctis was the first to agree since he was always interested in any type of a game. However, their searched for the famous Altissian arena didn't go as easy as they planned it will. They found themselves aimlessly strolling through the streets with a hopes they will find that one gondola that would lead them there. Surely a gondola was cheaper than the boats that could get them there.
"So which way now?" Prompto questioned as they stood in the middle of the same street they passed by already. "This way?" He pointed towards the stair way. "Or this way?" He pointed towards the other side that down the street where a fine restaurant was. "Which way?"
"What to 'weigh' in?" Kat gave Ignis and Prompto a strange look.
"Whaddaya say, Your Majes-tay?" Prompto played with words jokingly.
"I 'say' no 'way' I'm letting you blame me for getting us lost in these streets, again." Noctis answered, stressing out the first words and the last word.
"I would never." Prompto placed his hand on his heart as if he was offended while Kat chuckled at the two, until her eyes landed onto a poster on the wall.
Surely Kat wasn't expecting to get lost in Altissia since she never managed to get lost in Insomnia which has thousands of streets and alleys. However, will all the smart brains around her, they still managed to get lost, or how Ignis would prefer to describe it; misplaced. Kat simply hang her head in exhaustment and raised it up moment later until the decided to do what every smart tourist would do. Ask people.
"Excuse me!" Kat's actions were noted by the boys, as well as a couple in their twenties whose eyes fell onto the pleasantly smiling Kat that approached them. "Could you please directing me towards the gondola that leads to arena?" Kat polite asked.
"It's right up this stairway and up another stairway by the fountain." The woman answered her kindly.
"Thank you, very much."
And with that Kat gave the young couple another smile before she turned around and faced her four companions. With the directions set, the five of them went as they were told. Their presence did not go unnoticed, mostly because of the Prince that walked among them. They also stood out among Altissian people. While they were dressed in light clothes, they were in colors of darker shades. Noctis felt uncomfortable with all those stares, but sooner or later, he was aware he would have to become used to it.
