Chapter 9: Science Partner & Disappointed

Niall P.O.V

I woke the next morning, looked at my alarm clock, and it was 7:05. My eyes shoot open and I quickly got out of bed and straight to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, wash my face, and did my business in the bathroom. Once I was done, I threw on some sweatpant and a t-shirt. I ran down-stair to the guys all running around, We are all going to late for school.

We finally made it the school at 7:20. Louis and I ran to our first class which was science. When I walked in, everyone turned their head to look at us. I saw Chloe sitting next to Evan.

"Nice for you to join us, Mr. Horan and Mr. Tomlinson" the teacher said

"Sorry, we were running late" I said walking over to sit in my seat.

The teacher continue on with his lecture.

"Okay class, I am going to pair you off with someone else" the teacher said grabbing his clipboard of his desk.

"Summer and John"

April and Shannon"

"Tim and Connor"

I was hoping that I get pair with Louis but he was already pair with some guy. The teacher continue on with the pairing when he said

"Niall and Belle"

I was shocked that she got pair with me. She turned around and looked at me. I gave her a small smile. She gave one back. She must be sad that she wasn't pair with Evan. He was pair with Louis

"Okay, go and sit with your partner" the teacher said

Both Evan and her got up and walked over to where I was sitting. Evan sat down in front of me next to Louis. Belle came around and took a seat next to me. I was nervous that I am going to act really stupid in front her.

"Okay, this is going to be your science partner for two weeks" the teacher said

"Two week?" I thought to myself

"I want for you and your partner to come up with a science project and presents it to the class. It could be about anything you want, the sooner you start, the faster you get it done" the teacher said

For the rest of the class, the teacher would continue on with the science project, but I wasn't really listening to it. I was paying attention to Belle and how I was lucky to be her partner. I would glaze over at her sometime to see she was doing. She was taking down note and ideas for the project.

The bell finally rang and everyone left the class. I saw Belle walking up to the teacher and asking him something. As I was walking out the door, the teacher said

"Niall, you are lucky to have this girl as your partner, she have a great science project for you two to do"

I just smiled at him and turned my face to face her. She looked at me and smiled. I gave a nervous smiled back to her.

I made my way to my locker to see the guys and the girls standing there waiting for me.

"So Niall, I heard that you got partner with Belle in science" Eleanor said smirking

"How did you found out?" I ask

"Maybe you should ask your friend over here" she said pointing at Louis

I looked over at Louis and he was smiling.

"He text me telling me that you got pair with Belle" Eleanor said

"Aren't you happy?" Dani ask

"It's whatever" I said playing it cool

"Niall, you can play it cool as much as you want, but I know that deep down inside, you jumping with joy" Eleanor said
