One Month Later

"Jackson!" Zane yells motioning him over to our table he sites smiling and side hugs me. "How's my favorite girl doing?" I roll my eyes. "You ask like you don't talk to me every single day." He pushes me lightly. "Fine. I'll find a knew favorite girl. How about you Zane?" Zane smiles at us. With each passing day he says how more obvious it's getting that he likes me but I'm not really seeing it.

I cross my arms. "No no you can't just give my spot up like that." Zane always talked about how much happier I was with Jackson and I knew I was. People didn't talk about me when I was with him. When they did whisper I just ignored them. "Well unfortunately it's already been given away." I roll my eyes. "Fine." He smiles. "Come on Tea no one could take your place." I hum. "That's what I thought."

Zane just tries to bite back his smile. "So you guys got plans this weekend?" Zane shakes his head at Jackson. "No. Parents are away." He nods. "Well maybe you should get out." I frown. "Sadly we can't. We aren't supposed to leave when they are away." He smiles. "Well I'll just have to come keep you guys company." I smile as well continuing to eat.

"Hey Teagan." I turn seeing Miranda and Diego. "Thirsty much?" They throw there drinks at me and I ball my fists having Jackson tow me away as I sob. He pulls me into a bathroom wiping at my face with a paper towel. "Teagan are you okay?" I grip his arms as I let my tears subside. "I'm soaking wet and embarrassed Jackson." He frowns. "Let me take you home okay?" I go to object but realize my clothes are ruined and nod instead.

He takes me out of the bathroom and out of the school to his car. He helps me in and I text Zane telling him that I'm going home. He doesn't object and Jackson just gives me a small smile.

"I'll be down in a minute." I say stepping into the house. "Take you're time I'll be here." I head up the stairs to my room I shower quickly and get dressed in very casual clothes. I throw on a bluish gray shirt and black leggings before making my way downstairs.

I find Jackson on the couch watching TV. When he sees me he smiles. "Feel better Tea?" I flop down on the couch. "Every second I'm not at that school I feel better." He smiles and resumes watching TV. My phone vibrates and I pick it up.

New text from Zaney:
Don't have too much fun. I can't explain a beautiful baby to mom and dad.

I roll my eyes tossing my phone down. "Everything okay?" I huff. "Yes my brothers just an annoying twat." He laughs. "I don't think so." I scuff. "Oh come on. You really haven't noticed?" He scrunches his eyebrows together. "Noticed what?" I roll my eyes. "How everytime your around me he smiles and snickers. He's always staring." He sighs. "At me? I'm sorry but I'm not gay." I laugh. "No at us. He's convinced that you have this huge crush on me."
